QUESTION: SO... battle wear or clean? I am thinking paint chips and scratches.

I have been itching to do a set of steampunk Dinobots for a while. They just have that feel that done right could be sick.

Thanks to Masterxblaster and Scioce for the help out.. I got my hands on Screecher and Cyclops from the fantastic HOS line from Mastermind Creations.
I want to eventually do actually Dinos, but this go I will be sticking with vehicle alt modes. The great thing about Steampunk is that I can play by my own rules.. so a tank with a triceratops head or a stegosaurus tail is all good:)
Sludge to me should be huge. He is an Apatosaurus! Liked the water..so, the Cyclops mold made since! New Head, new hands, and paint goes a long way..

Swoop, airborne squad was perfect. The style of this figure is just amazing. Some chopping up, scratch build chest, working scratch built goggles that look like his G1 Toy visor, new aircraft head..and we gots a Swoop!

The other three are still works in progress but will more than likely be re-shells and scratch building with some warhammer stuff.

    Let me know your thoughts.

The are pretty much going to be my last big customs as my time is now going to be focusing on something else..

I'm all eyes for this. The molds chosen sound like excellent choices.

Idea seems interesting though your pics don't do anything for me at this point. It seems the equivelent of silouhette teasers pics from 3P companies.

Looking forward to when you have something to show.

No problem bro, I had no clue you were gonna turn Cyclops into freaaakkin Sludge, ahhhhh thats EPIC!! These molds work so well for the characters. I can totally see MMC remolding one of there Airborn Squads into a Swoop now!

    Steampunk Dinobots FTW!!

Wow, some brilliant thinking on using these molds for Dinobots! Never would've thought Cyclops would've made such a good Sludge, and that Starscream works perfectly for Swoop. These are gorgeous. Maybe some light wear around the edges? Looking forward to seeing the rest!

Light wear I guess... but clean works too.

Man... the HoS Seeker mold just works soooo well for Swoop.

Great work thus far on both.
