Man I love it! I really love TF and ST and you combined it to glory!

Also nice Backstory, but with a slight but important error: Borg assimilate, and don't study, what they can't assimilate, they don't understand

Cannot wait for the finished product!

    Thanks!
Well, Borg queens do all kinds of extra stuff though. The Borg even executed a plan to take a wormhole to earth's past to alter history in a last ditch effort to win. Still, the story will get some tweaking when I'm done though. I have many more hours of thinking and listening to music while I work on this guy.

I really appreciate the nice comments and interest guys. It's motivating so I am probably putting more time into it then I was before posting the WIP.

Please, Please, when you are done with this project put it up on shapeways as well as the instructions on how you did it. I would love to add this to my collection.

Really cool, but I feel that the shield's too big. Maybe you could have his original "beetle wings" but with a smaller shield removed from the middle before they split. This would result in having arch shaped wings and a smaller shield. Might look cool. Well, hope that was understandable. :)

My opinion is keep the engines on it's back intact, or compressed down. Either way, I like the idea that it can go into warp in robot mode. Even if it's for short bursts or something.

very cool! i might have missed it, but is the enterprise from a toy or model kit?

And I really dig you back story.

This is pretty cool custom you know I hope you got a name for it maybe Phaser, but hey their could be other names that are Star Trek-ish in nature.

It looks like the model kit. I've built it before.

What's suppoed to happen to the crew when it transforms?

He said earlier that the crew would be asked to leave into certain protected areas when it transformed.

As for Phaser, someone earlier had a ship named that. Probably be kind of poor taste to use the same name.

    ^All that stuff Noblekale said^

I've been thinking more on the story. The crew will be teleported to the saucer section and sent away while E defends their escape in dire situations. I have added things to make the ship without the saucer section look cool. I always liked how the Enterprise D could separate that way.
If its just an easy skirmish situation, any crew in the saucer section is transported out and the saucer is a shield for extra protection.

This autobot was born as the enterprise, using the ships own technology to scan everything on board and all systems, then use all data to upgrade and reconfigure into a transformer. He already has a name he was born with. Enterprise E, but as a living being and not just the ship anymore, everyone calls him E, so his name is basically just Autobot E.

Oh and yes the model parts are from an AMT model.

This is completely and totally awesome!! Can't wait for the finished product. Really dig your backstory too, it opens up a whole new chapter in the Trek universe. Talk about "boldly going"... You do realize that he'll need a nemesis to battle, right?? I'd love to see your take on a Borg bot...

I didn't think it was possible. Good job on good thinking and ideas.

If I had any problems with any of this, it would be that the ship seems kinda small for what you are trying to do.

In any case, hope to see more.

Looks awesome so far. Can't wait to see it finished. I always wondered what an Enterprise Transformer would look like.
