True. Though since that came out over a year ago, "eventually" back then, when season 3 hadn't even begun production IIRC, could mean this season. Not necessarily likely, though.

I doubt he'll disagree with Megatron, he's a lapdog and definitely knows what happened to Dreadwing. He'll likely disagree with Starscream though.

 

I don't think he'll speak and I'm okay with that. I like him as a silent warrior.

@Jakest123: That "lapdog" is capable of beating the shit out of most characters in the show. I do agree that he wouldn't disagree with Megatron though.

 

His first, last, and only words in the series will be "Oh crap.", immediately before his death.

 

Soundwave should only speak if he has no other way of communicating in a desparate situation. As others have said, his silence is one of his best traits and he should stay silent.

 

I hope he stays silent but if he must speak I hope he says "Soundwave: Superior."

 

The "Soundwave will eventually talk... and Bumblebee too" bit is extremely vague. I'm guessing we probably won't hear either one speak till season three. True, it wasn't in production at that time, but I would be shocked if they weren't already writing it.

We'll just have to wait and see...well...hear...

 

If Soundwave does speck he should be voiced by John DiMaggio.

Even if he does speak, it will likely be very little. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if he were voiced by someone who is already a staple of the show.

Wave: Yes master?
Megs: Don't ever vocalize again. Ever.
Wave, looking crestfallen, kicks a loose bolt, "yes master..."

 

If he has to speak and its in the Welker/Singleton style then I feel he'd need to be redesigned in to a more G1esque design.

 

I never heard that he would speak this season, only that he would speak.
I think he'll speak during Beast Hunters, because the Legion Bee has a different head that appears to have a mouth, and Soundwave also gets a redesign... sooooo...

Speaking of this, did Starscream or anything related give anyone chills? Also, did anyone return with a huge entrance? :/

 

Those bh retools don't mean crap it all there for toy sales not for the show. I hope welker does his voice.

 

Wouldn't it be amusing if Megatron had ripped out Bumblebee's voice box and gave it to Soundwave, which he would later on use to taunt Bumblebee?
