Okay Yeah Spoilers but here is what I think may happen during the season Finale of Transformers Prime

.Optimus hands over the keys to Megatron cause he can't let the kids die
.The Autobots retreat back to base to get the kids home safely
.Soundwave fianlly locates there base and Megatron orders a full assault on it
.Ratchet Possibly being Killed by sacrificing himself so the rest of The Autobots and Kids to escape
.The Decepticons destroy the base and maybe The ground bridge aswell
.Megatron activates The Omega Lock and restores Cybertron in his image
.The Autobots in another of their Darkest Hours and have their own cliffhamger
.The last scene would be the NYCC Season 3 sneak peek in which Shockwave Retruns and introduces Preadiking

Those are my main predictions, now to be clear I don't think Ratchet will die, however is it just me or did the latest epsiode almost feel like the start of his swan song, and am I the only one that thinks this will make the show more darker and better, besides the creators said that at the end of the season things will be really bad for the Autobots, okay I can see them losing cybertron to Meagtron as bad, but I think they are also planning to make it an even more bad by having their base destroyed and a character killed, well share your thoughts.

Okay finally found the promo and yes the base is destroyed, and I therefore make another Prediciton, you can see in it that there is a helicopter watching The Nemissis as it hovers over a firey crater(The Base I guess), I predict that Agent Fowler will bear witness to the destruction of the Base, and I'm still guessing someone dies.

 

My first thought is that I noticed where you live, and I remember heading up there from North Dakota many years ago.

My second thought is that I think you're pretty much spot-on, although I think Ratchet will live, and it seems like your prediction has him living and dying. :unsure:

 

I'm saying I think he will die in this Episode, we have had two seasons of Character development for him, we have all gotten to know him and I think the creators will kill him off by having him sacrifice himself so the rest of The Autobots and the kids can escape. I feel that fate would be fitting for Ratchet and great way to have him go, I don't want him to but I'm looking at the facts so I'm saying I belive he's goin got die, but if I'm wrong, no big deal, I'm just saying I think it would be a great deal and can lead to more character development with the kids and Team Prime, I mean Optimus will mourn for his friend, Bulkhead won't break anything because Ratchet won't be there to say "I Needed That". All I'm saying is what I think and I think he's going to die

But again if I'm wrong whatever the show will still be good.

 

Ratchet's voice actor recorded lines all the way until the last episode of season 3.

 

Yes but did he ever say that he recorded them for Ratchet, I mean he could be the voice of Preadiking for all we know, or someone else, I mean on almsot every show he's been on he's always voice more than one character, and if it's not Ratchet who's killed, maybe it's Arcee, after all where was her Beast Hunters toy, we saw Bumblebee's, Bulkhead's, Wheeljack's, but no Arcee, hmmm... I can also see her sacrificing herself to save the others, especilly since she's probably the most developed character and it would have the same effect as Ratchets. Optimus is out cause they won't kill him yet, Bumblebee is out cause nobody would kill him, Smokescreen is to new and we just got to know him so he's out and if they were going to kill Bulkhead they would of had him recover from his wounds in Hurt so he's out which means it's Ratchet or Arcee.

 

Just because her toy wasn't shown in the Beast Hunters line yet doesn't mean that she'll die. After all we didn't see any upgraded forms of Optimus and Ratchet so that's not really true. We'll likely see her figure in the later waves in the line.

 

I think the show's goal is unpredictability. Look at what Optimus said. That conveys the idea "We might give you the keys... but we might not."

 

going by Jack and Miko's VAs saying that they had to say things that they were 'surprised' to see on the script, I'd say the humans might get angry that the bots were hiding something like this from them and being all secretive. THey might take it personally, leading into season 3.

I don't think anyone else dies, but I do think Airachnid breaking out will be one of the minor cliffhanger scenes between the destruction of the base.

It would have been funny if the autobots took her with them and used her to counter insecticons (which megatron didn't bring for some reason?)

 

I doubt Ratchet will die. All major Autobots have plot armor, Bulkhead is proof of that countless times.

yes, yes a reach, but how can you not ignore the name "Omega" and not think of the Aligning Continuity and fall back to the War for Cybertron Video Game and a sequence of events there in ?

As to another death?

I don't see it, why would it happen? What purpose would it accomplish?

(I hope that either of the Docs/Medics don't eat it though...I like Knockout and Ratchet)

 

Ratchet won't die. He's the 3rd main Autobot in the franchise.

 

Maybe Arcee or Bulkhead (maybe) one of them could die.
Even though I would want 'Bee to die, but that wouldn't happen.

 

My predictions:

Some cliffhanger ending which will be quickly resolved at the start of season 3. Then when it does, nothing bad happens to the Autobots and the decepticons get screwed...AGAIN

Im going to predict (though unlikely) that shockwave will appear at the very end of the episode giving a cliffhanger for the next season (Shockwave wouldnt have predaking though)

 

I cry for only 1 minute at Breakdown's death, 4 for Dreadwing, and if Ratchet would die? The entire rest of the day

 

Predictions:

Optimus will not allow any harm to befall the children—he will without a doubt hand over the keys to Megatron.

*Why didn’t Megatron also demand that the Autobots also surrender the Starsaber, Polarity Gauntlet, Immobilizer, Apex Armor and Phase Shifter? Megatron has found Optimus’ kryptonite; there’s nothing he wouldn’t do in such a predicament.

Anyway, I’m sure the Autobots will retreat with the children, and unbeknownst to Optimus and company, they will have returned home with the children and a Trojan horse—bugged containers, pinging the exact location of the Autobots base to the Nemesis. Agent Fowler presence in next week’s teaser, probably has something to do with him being called in to take the children home, and they leave just before the Autbot’s darkest hour.

With little to no time to spare, the Autobots grab what they need and flee just before the base is obliterated. At this point, I’m going to assume the Autobots take Airachnid with them (in stasis or out of stasis)—Optimus won’t allow her to be left behind and killed in that fashion.

*With a certain someone gone, I’m guessing Airachnid will be one of the Cybertronians to switch allegiances.

With no Space Bridge of their own or the means to return to Cybertron, Wheeljack is likely to come back into play with his Space worthy ship. I don’t know how, but the Autobots will learn of the Decepticon’s Spacebridge in space, but they will. I don’t recall where I read this—possibly one of the season three interviews—but it was stated that Optimus will be forced to make decision that doesn’t have favorable outcome or something along those lines. Rather than allowing Megatron to restore Cybertron and to have him designs it in his image, I wouldn’t be surprised if Optimus reluctantly decides to destroy the Omega Lock/Allspark before Cyberton’s transformation reaches completion with the Starsaber.
