Well a clip story, as I expected. The short moments with Knock Out were fun, yes. But I don´t like episodes which don´t really show something new.

But I guess the next two episodes will make it up.

 

A re-cap episode. I usually hate them. But at least this one got a point. But it saddens me to watch a full episode for merely 5 minutes of new information.

 

And I waited the whole week for this? Sigh...

 

I guess I admit it was well-constructed for being a clip episode. I liked the added dialogue between Starscream and Megatron during the flashbacks. Nice to see Megatron allow him back, probably being convinced by his confession to Soundwave, as others have said. My favorite part though was Dreadwing of course. Good thing I was watching the episode by myself because I got a bit teary-eyed.

 

Hmm, Combaticons, anyone?

 

Did anyone notice, what looked like the beast machines insignia on Primes back when starscream jumped through the wormhole with the omega keys? Easter egg or am I imagining?

 

At least Knockout had some of the best lines in this episode!

Seriously two clip shows in one season?

 

Meeeehhhhhhh.

Only worthwhile part was Starscream dancing.

 

I love how the Prime writers do clip shows. They don't make it plainly obvious, both Grill and Patch served the story. Although Patch made more of an impact than Grill did.

 

Guess it was a clip show all the time although it did serve a purpose.  

Guess Dreadwing's going to show signs of defecting quite soon.  

 

My thoughts on Patch

I loved this episode, Starscream is hilarious. I always loved characters like him (comic reliefs like Waspinator and Sky-Byte). During his dance routine, I was about to sing You Should be Dancing. Knock Out is just great. Megatron is also great.

But Dreadwing gave me the creeps. His voice sounded more somber than before (He reminds me of the Quintesson Judge played by Roger C. Carmel). I even got scared when he screamed in the ending. I mean he really scared me. But a character who scares me easily turns out to be a strong character for my taste.

Anyways what do you think????  

 

I really enjoyed the episode, but besides that, it's good when we get to see a clip show that actually moves the plot of a show.

 

Starscream : " I do transform with a certain style"... "I said that out loud didn't I?"

- Quite amusing.

Sigh another clip show?

Nice dialogue in the framing sequences though, but you'd think they'd focus on building up the relic storyline instead of an episode trying to refresh the Starscream/Megatron dynamic which practically every TF fan is familiar with.

Also, gonna be interesting to see where Dreadwing's story is going to go from here.

 

I noticed something...Arcee lost two partners while dreadwing lost his twin brother..I sympathize with dreadwing a lot more though. I imagine him and skyquake were very close c:

 

Ironically, it's the clip show that turns out more interesting than the majority of episodes as of late...

 

I don't know why I didn't think of this before but is this the first episode of any Transformers series that is entirely focused on the Decepticons? I think it is... too bad the first Decepticon centric episode had to be a clip show. I hope I'm forgetting something...
