Only works if your first person there. I remember someone here said they got pushed out of the way even though they were first. So I wait until door was unlocked then when I walked in I kinda closed the door on the wife while she opened it back slowly

Just picked mine up at my local TRU this morning with a 20% off coupon. $80+tax for one of, if not the, best Masterpiece figure is ridonculous. How anyone could now justify Takara's MP-10 at almost $300 is beyond me. Thanks, Hasbro, for making an old man feel a little bit younger.
 

 

Glorious. I got my hands on mine yesterday thanks to a friend working at TRU. I am in Toronto so these things just started popping out in very limited number as of last week and is still hard to find.

The best part? Tomorrow beings the 30% off TF slae and I get to go for a price adjustment on him and MP TC. That will equal $70 MPOP and $49MPTC. It's proving to be a very expensive yet spectacular 4th quarter.

I couldn't bite on the $250 plus shipping price tag for Takara's because if there is one thing you can bank on it is that Hasbro would be releasing the figure. I didn't think he would come with the trailer and everything else but he did and all for $70. I also prefer the Hasbro anime paint job vs Takara's toy paint job. It is not very often that Hasbro beats out Takara on a paint job.

 

Hmmm....anybody got the link/info on that 30% off sale? What about that $20 off today....would they do that 30% tomorrow? Should I just not do the $20 off and wait till tomorrow? Also, I bought the TCracker yesterday at a different TRU than the one I am getting today.....with the 15% off.

The 20% coupon is one from online and only Valid in the US. the 30% sale starts tomorrow IN CANADA.

I don't know what the coupon reads but generally speakign you can not mix and match promotions. You will have to read the coupon for the stipulations.

Thanks for the info! This will help in dealing with the few defects from this figure, so now I only paid $72 for Prime. In theory I only paid $10 (bought MP Skywarp for $10 and sold him to get Prime, even exchange.... that's how I am looking at it)

However, I wish Prime did not suffer from any defects... regardless it is an impressive mold and Hasbro did a great job (paint wise.. there is still more they could have done such as remove any issues on the MP-10 Takara release).

But thats besides the point, I mostly display my TF in robot mode, and from time to time I will transform them and display them in their alt mode.

I wonder if Takara will ever redo Megatron to match the scale and cartoon accuracy of the G1 show...

I don't think your preorder is dropped, I actually checked my order today too and there was no record. I think the tru website only lists shipped orders for whatever reason.

 

i just checked my order and there was no record either. previously it was there! could it be because its already shipped?

It's Christmas time [at least according to the new store hours at the local TRU]. I think they up the shipping to stores with bigger draws. But I'm likely just talking out of my ass.

My order is still in place and there's still record of my accidental second order as well being cancelled on my personal orders page.
