It's not really the ultimate dealbreaker but there's a bit of a difference between Prime doing "neccessary evil" and him basically being a remorseless gangland style executioner. Grimlock, sure.
I think Bayverse Prime's interpretation of "til all are one" is basically Prime being the last one alive.
It's just more lack of appreciation and knowledge of the history of a character but, whatever, it's not the main issue.

 

All I hope is Tyrese gets to act with his right cheek this time too.

Except for all those times he did exactly that.

 

I would start debating, but I don't want this thread to devolve into the tried-and-true "Optimus is a psycho, no he's not"-discussion.   (We all know there's been way too many of those arguments...)
