Bay's surely made enough money now so that he can own a demolition company, film buildings being exploded in slow motion 3D as he walks away from them, edit the shot every 1.5 seconds, then pull himself sore watching it over and over?

I don't know what's worse, my inability to stay out of Bay movie threads and see the same lameass jokes turned out over and over again by mouth-breathers OR the mouth-breathers inability to not give $15 every 3 years to a TF movie they supposedly hate.

 

I love how one tiny little vague comment from Bay creates a dozen pages of "discussion". Bay sucks! No you suck! Your momma! *sigh* 2 more years of this...

 

But it had Wheelie and Brains taking up the twins slack, DEEP WANG! (vomits), John Malkovich making an absolute tit of himself, the most pathetic Megatron imaginable, a mindless imbecile Shockwave, a salivating Starscream, Soundwave is a car collectors bitch and sounds like the Honey Monster... and so on. Self indulgent mindless tripe.
If they were listening to feedback, they didn't do much about it apart from change who and where the cringes came from.

Pretty sure most of the people complaining about the complaining aren't huge Bay fans (I know I'm not), we're just even lesser fans of douchey, unfunny posts...which this thread has in spades.

Exactly. Who can possibly say how a Michael Bay Transformers film will turn out? If only there was some precedent.

 

In a world where Honey Boo Boo is considered a TV star it's not shocking to see that the entertainment bar is so insanely low that people will flock to see if Micheal Bay has made his films even more mindless for them.

Sure every once in a while something like Battleship or Green Lantern will flop and you will start to build a tiny bit of hope that people are developing a small shread of taste again, but then you realize how many seasons Jersey Shore has ran.

I realize this bias exists, but I truly don't understand it. And I'm someone who was 6 years old and addicted to G1 when it started.

Im mad because I know bb is going to be in this movie and every scene with him in it is going to get a figure that no one will buy, and then they will sit there till clearanced and new ones will arrive but then the wave without him will come which has every figure that everyone wants in it and it will be cancelled

 

Yep, 3 totally unique experiences they were too.
Not at all similar in any way.

I loved the one with the conspiracy theories, embarrassing humour, ineffective bad guys and overacting morons. You know, the one with the Linkin Park music with Sam and Prime mooning of into the distance after stopping the bad guys getting the plot device? The one where Prime and Bumblebee do all the fighting?
That one stands out. It's my favourite.

Got that part right, no other bots have been so focoused on these past 3 movies. yes the others were there but it seems like they were there to hlep Prime and bumbler out.
And the part where Sam killed starscream was completely ******ed

 

I think the whole problem with Bays TF films, and certainly from my own point of view, was not that he raped my childhood or whatever, but that he hasn't connected with it all.
His films do not feel connected to Transformers to me.

I love G1 and was 10 when it all came out and I too was hooked, but it's not the be all and end all. There's been plenty going on in the TF world since G1 that is great. But his films are not it. They seem to me like Michael Bay's typical self indulgence (very) loosely based around the idea of transformers.
