...and she beat me! Yup, she cleaned my clock and this was the first time either of us have played the game! I only have 6 figures, so we each had a team of 3. She was armed w/ Rodimus, Mini-Con & Landmine. I had Hot Shot, Scourge & Battle Ravage. Her first 2 shots knocked out both Scourge & BR. So much for my skill, huh? Best thing though is that she had fun playing the game and asked me if I was going to buy anymore pieces. Yes, the wife's blessing to spend money on my hobby! First the OK to buy the upcoming Nintendo Wii, now spend more on TFs...ain't she the greatest?!

Those Attacktix's are cool and those missles don't play! If you miss completely tho, must fetch the missle imediately or you'll be searching like mad later They look like a simple 'blast em ' game at first, then it's suprising how deep the game can really get. Alot of strategy options to choose from when building that army. Lucky you man, my gf just gave me that stupid look when I ask her anymore. She played once and seemed to have fun, but I htink she was just making up for those pms moments
Last night while playing our 2 cats thought we were playing with them as they'd chase the missiles flying throughout the living room! Yeah, I may be lucky - but I'll get to see how far I can stretch that luck this weekend @ Botcon with the wife in tow throughout the dealer room. At least I don't have to explain my purchase of Kiss Players Convoy to her (I bought it from Captured Prey last week and had it shipped to my work!). At least I'll get an hour or so on Friday in the dealer room w/o her holding my wallet hostage.
When I was a kid and still played with my transformers. I'd always make sure my cat was in the room with me. He was an expert at chasing down missiles.
When we got our first Attacktix (the SW ones), my wife kept the receipt brcause she thought they would suck. Now we run the JoeAttacktix.com site together and she loves them more than me! But she also HATES losing... I wish I could say I let her win but she kicks my ass pretty regularly. If anyone sees TF Attacktix Series 2 at BotCon PLEASE let me know!
