Hasbro and Takara used the same mold for Thrust. Unless you're referring to the BotCon one which had different wings that only the BotCon one can used. If that's what you mean then you're not going to get that one as Hasbro and Takara can't use parts that Fun Pub paid for.

Not GDO but Transformers Asia (TakaraTomy). So not coming to the states.

Hasbro has nothing to do with this.

That's great for those who missed em. But I wanna see what they do with with that Uranus foot mold before I drop some coin.

 

What I ask is that Thundercracker is a lighter blue, Ramjet's wings are a silver-esque/light grey plastic, and Thrust is closer to true red than the maroon of previous releases. THAT would make me happy. Thundercracker becomes background seeker #9, partswap Ramjet with Thrust to make Fitor, pawn off Skywarp, everything else goes to nephews.

 

The completionist in me needs this set.

 

You'll hate this classic response but: no. Classics just looked too cheap. Especially both versions of Starscream.

You and me both, but my wallet isn't going to like it. I am picturing this being in the $180-$200 range, and likely closer to $200. Though they will likely be in one box, the exchange rate (to say the least) hasn't been exactly great lately. Would be nice if they were $30 each, but I wouldn't doubt if they push closer to $40 each piece.

While I can live without the zebra stripes on Thrust and Dirge, the uniformity of the OG three seekers in the Henkei line really shines compared to the Hasbro ones. For me the Hasbro Skywarp is just goofy looking even if the Purple on the Henkei is off a bit. Plus Henkei Ramjet is amazing.

 

Kind of hoping the pics (when they hit) leave something to be desired as I don't want to re-buy them...at the same time, I'm hopeful. Curse you plastic crack.

 

Hmmmm. A re-release of all 6 Classics Seekers/Coneheads? Why? How about a Sunstorm? Or is that one repaint too much?

 

Woah!! Easy there.. this will only be the FOURTH repaint of (most) seekers. You'll be wanting atleast SIX releases of Thundercracker before 1000 floppy L.Ed. Sunstorm's are made from a worn out mould.

 

Can't they make the seekers voyager size instead. These classics ones are too small for the classic series. Also MP size is a little too big

 

There's a big difference between the cost of
creating new tooling, and repainting existing tooling.



Especially when it's like the nth time these molds have been used.

 

Hmmm. A year ago I would have been all over this. But...

I have already painted Henkei Thrust and Dirge forearms and swapped Dirge's wings for the Gen. Version.

My Henkei Thundercrackers launchers are already painted all blue.

My Henkei Skywarp uses CHMS purple missiles.

If these seekers are SUPER toon accurate I will buy them again.
