It's interesting how he looks like the same family of Mercedes or possibly Hino Trucks that RID Ultra Magnus may spring from.

I wonder if we can finagle the control art out of Hasbro like happened with Ironhide - It might be worth asking on this facebook page maybe if we can have the pre-release control art for Thundertron and Magnus published at some time (if it exists).

Like it was with Ironhide it would be interesting to see what colours would go where if he was CGI - and unless he's added to the show that might not be so easy to find out.

Managed to get both Ultra Magnus and Thundertron. They're both easily two of the best Voyagers released in any Transformers line, despite a few niggling little criticisms.

Ultra Magnus kinda wins out though, in that a) He's a decent Ultra Magnus toy that isn't a repaint of Optimus Prime. b) You don't have to pay a massive amount of money in order to turn him into one via non-official means. c) He feels like an update of the G1 character moreso than any other Magnus released in the last decade (even if the Leader Animated Magnus was rather good). And finally d) His weapon is the only one in the entire line that locks into place, and you get two modes out of it; hammer and rifle.

So yeah, definitely a decent figure.
Oh and also, I'm loving how these days Ultra Magnus seems to be given a hammer as his signature weapon, like Ironhide and his cannons. Makes me very happy to see elements of different series combine into a whole.

Leg kibble is the exact thing that I hate on the Weaponizer Optimus Prime. So long as the weapons are attached to the back of Magnus though it isn't so bad ebcause it hides it.
    Cool figure...pre-ordered!
