Nothing really lasts more than an episode huh? Meg's arms going to be back within a few I'm guessing.

I'm dropping the series. I've got nothing good to say about it aside from the designs.

 

Sentinel and Zeta are the same character in the continuity, Sentinel Zeta Prime

 

Nothing seems to last for 1-2 episodes with 3 as the maximum amount. It will be interesting to hear what GogDog and the others have to say about this episode in the podcast. This episode was still good and it was wonderful having George Takei voicing Alpha Trion, but I thought it fell short on the pacing.

You know, if you think about it, people that say nothing is going on with Prime and say they're leaving then come right on back the next week is kind of the same thing they're complaining about.........

Not trying to start fights here, but i really dig the show. You wanna leave? Fine, leave. Just do it and stop saying so.

 

Watching megatron craft the arm of a dead Prime onto his own body made me think back an episode in season 1…were Ratchet said that Megatron was no "ghoul" so much for that notion, huh?

 

Damn that was a good episode. Just saw it a few minutes ago as a rerun. Actually seeing TF: Prime in its HD glory is the only way to watch, this episode was gorgeous.

 

I doubt it's Rodimus' arm, he's usually younger than Optimus and only turns up to take charge in the absence of Optimus or with his own crew. The odds on favourite would be Sentinel for me, though I am surprised Optimus didn't say the Prime whom it was in a "you desecrated (insert name) 's grave megatron, you truly lack respect to your brethren and to my lineage!"

I'm quite surprised no body here has had both pics of megs new arm and the pics of the 13 and tried to single out whose arm it is.

Unfortunately, I thought to myself that the Star Sword was gonna shatter.
And it did.

And I nod my head... always have to keep the good guyseating dust for the sake of drama.

Sooo.... since Alpha Trion explicitely stated that all the relics were on Earth for Optimus to use- why sure Ratchet: let SMOKESCREEN keep the relic. Who cares what A3 told Optimus?

And why exactly isn't Optimus taking whatever relics he has from this point on? They's come in really handy. But no- lett the rookie have it.

Facepalm.

 

I also liked how Smokes had the Phase Shifter on. His whole former "diversionary character" personality is really coming through with his recent strategy in battle.

EDIT: I might also point out that the relic arcs are coming back around in a meaningful way. Already, a couple previous relics have been used in combat, and it looks like more are to follow. I think that though the whole "cut a prime's arm off to gain its power" is a pretty cocked-up way of looking at the whole "power of a Prime" business, in the context of the story, it works. Megatron showed just how low he was willing to go, and he got to use the Forge of Solus Prime to craft something that really did turn the tide of his fight.

Smokescreen pronounces Solus's name weird. It morivates me to make the observation that the first female Transformer ever was named "So Loose Prime."

 

I love Megatron. Not only did he not go into stasis to put on the new arm, he merely grunted when his arm begins to get sawed off. Tough as Teflon!

I'm dissapointed to see Optimus lose to Megatron again after looking forward to another fight between the big two. I have to wonder what Hasbro's writers are thinking when they decide to let Megatron win.

 

if optimus won then he would have killed megatron there since megs had no backup. plus it doesn't seem unreasonable to have megatron win most of the time.

 

Because while their weapons were equally matched, Megatron's the better warrior. Add his desperation, eagerness to have more power and the bonus strength from the dark energon and well... p'wned.

I laughed harder than I should have.  

 

Megatron is stronger and better than Optimus, but most villains are. Like Bane, Sinestro, Green Goblin, Darth Vader, and Voldemort. Of course bad guys have more power, all they care about is power. Good guys defeat villains through other means by being faster, or smarter or having more willpower. I always saw Optimus as "the one person who could beat Megatron".

 

I think Nova Prime is a great canadite.
