I'm so glad I'm not the only one! :)

Yeah the lack of exclusives is disappointing, but last years didn't exactly fly off the site, so it's no surprise. I'm really looking forward to hearing some updates on figures and getting some clarification about what is happenig with Prime after this weekends confusion. Wonder if that's why they're announcing this right now?

This is great news. Hopefully their is tons of newer never before seen TFP & Generations 2013 toys revealed. at the very least show projector pics or paper pics of never before seen TF toys not shown at botcon, sdcc or elsewhere.

I'm glad it's an official panel. Not a panel done by some fans who are there to spew their biased opinion. At Anime Expo, I attended a Transformers panel done by fans. They tried to establish Beast Wars as the dark ages of Transformers. When I tweeted the details of the panel, one of my followers asked if I could punch one of the panelists for him.

I guess that means no third party toys will be sold at NYCC if Hasbro is willing to do a panel there.

Considering some of the snippiness and "chicken little" crap going around here lately, yeah, a Transformer panel run by fans could be an angst-ridden disaster.

This is definitely some good news. Should be interesting to see what they reveal (assuming pictures of the panel will be allowed). I really hope they reveal US releases of a TFP Deluxe Ironhide, TFP Deluxe Smokescreen, and either a TFP or FoC Hardshell figure. Some news on the future of the Generations line would be nice. Especially if they ever intend to do non-FoC figures in it...Also I guess we could get some Beast Hunters news, though I don't think we'll get a lot about that till Toy Fair.

Bummed to hear there won't be any exclusives this year. Really enjoyed some of them last year. The Bumblebee Arcee NYC set was awesome.

Any major toy news anyways. I was honestly getting ready to wait till Toy Fair for anything, as I had heard Hasbro had said that they weren't going to NYCC this year. It's good to know that, while they won't be an exhibitor this year, that they're still having a panel. Meaning we can still get some big toy news this year...

Agreed! And by consequence this set was a really nice way to get FE versions of both BB and Arcee before their regular retail counterparts. In the end I still like the in-show version of FE BB better (minus the taxi cab checkerboard in other words), but the very fact that Hasbro did this set at all was cool! And the pink Arcee was my fav' for months, much better color scheme than the off model FE blue Arcee anyway.

And personally I plan to level set on any toy news. It's not NYTF nor is it SDCC. Still a big show, but I have a feeling most of us are going to see rehashes of what's already BEEN seen with perhaps a slight sprinkling of the new- one or two new figures. I'll be happy if we see pics of Prime Wildrider, Breakdown/Silas, Frenzy, and the repaint of Ratchet as Swerve- as these have already been announced- but the one I really want to see is Smokescreen. I want to know how their handling him- (i.e., repaint/remold or unique mold). If I get that one bit of news I'll consider the show a smashing success.

Given how long last year's NYCC set hung around (is that still available on HTS?), I don't blame Hasbro for skipping exclusives. Was Combination Hulk the only NYCC exclusive that sold quickly online?

Hopefully, some questions will be answered for S3 of TFP.
