Are you talking about the TRU MP Thundercracker? If so , that gets plugged in to the bottom of the nose in Jet mode. If you have the mini Megs that came with mp-o1 then you cld clip him to the hook

 

I'm assuming you're talking about the Hasbro Masterpiece Thundercracker? It's so that you can mount the miniaturized Megatron gun that came with the original Masterpiece Optimus Prime underneath him in jet mode. Kind of weird that they included it, but cool, I guess.

looks like the gun is getting a re-release with soundwave, so it'll be useful even if you don't have it yet

 

I hope and pray every day for MP Grimlock to be rereleased in a bigger size.

 

I really dont see the point of doing another Grimlock. He's not that far off the 'right' size so why waste another slot on a repeat character? The only repeat character that really makes sense is Megatron, and I suppose Magnus but we never truely got Ultra Magnus anyway.

 

Because he's not the right size, so it matters a lot to us perfectionists(and maybe TT). And fwiw, he's about 2 heads too short from being in-scale to MP-10.

 

Meh, for two heads difference, I dont see the point. He's definitely close enough to the 'right' size for me.

Same here, but I'd only want to see it happen if the other 4 Dinobots were also in the pipeline. Otherwise, yeah, he's 'close enough' that I don't think another MP spot needs to be wasted with yet another V2 of a figure/character we already got.

 

I'd go one farther and say that I'd rather see the other four dinos released at current MP scale BEFORE I see a MP Grimy v2. That's proabably just me though.

Don't really like the chromed pilot--woulda preferred a trans-blue "hologram"--but it beats the Arkeville from Walscream and Walwarp.

 

No worry then, there's no way in hell HasTak would redo the same mold an inch to an inch and a half bigger. People's only hope for such a thing would be an upsized KO or 3rd Party original mold.

 

He'd be almost twice the bulk though. It's a big size difference when you consider just how much bigger he is to Optimus. Which is...

Also, it's not like they haven't released a resize of an existing mold before(*points to Energon Megatron/Galvatron*). Plus, this is only the second time HasTak even cared about scale(first being Binaltech/Alternators vehicle modes), so I'd think they would want it perfect.

Though I do agree with Incepticon and hoosierdaddy04 that it's kinda pointless if the other Dinobots aren't in the pipeline...

 

Oh, for my fellow MPTC owners: given that we heard about a second head to replace the flip-face, where's it packed, or did Hasbro drop it? I can't seem to find it anywhere in my package...

 

No second head. Hasbro mistakenly referenced the MP-3 version of the mold on the packaging and instructions instead of the MP-11 mold.

Everybody being sue-happy about so much as chipped nails is one of the things flushing the USA down the dumper... besides, mine's staying in altmode anyway, and while there's no love lost between me and Hasbro at the moment this is just a minor "shrug, oh well"--I'm FAR more infuriated over their "Shank you very much for your business" stealth cancellation of Axis & Allies Miniatures.
