Would this have to do anything with the dinobots and the other relic called chimera stone? Would be interesting.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. If S2 is just now airing soon there, then it's likely season 3 in the US will be in the spring or summer of 2013. I like how the timeline shows these properties are good til 2014/15...

Seriously, the Autobots probably won't change. They'll likely be hunting Decepticons with beast alt modes. Maybe a new Autobot will be in it with a beast mode, but I doubt they'll change Prime or Bumblebee.

 

TF Prime is certainly getting a long life. If I remember correctly they called the series Prime because it was the first in this new continuity, yet there seems to be little movement away from Optimus and Megatron's "small but strong" groups. If this ends up being an alliance between Prime and Megs to fight Thundertron and the Star Seekers I'm all there. I would be surprised if the Dinobots or other G1 or BW styled beasts are included.

Did we honestly think they were going to revive the Beast Era with some sort of continuation of BM? I could see it in comic form (see: Regeneration One) but not a full blown toyline and cartoon.

Maybe they should refer to themselves as Beastwunners or B1. I for one am excited to see where this goes. I hope it means Dinobots return and some old favorites from Beast Wars and Machines, that being said I hope they continue to add vehicles into the mix so we get the best of both worlds.

I love Beast Wars and it was what got me into Transformers in the first place, but I don't like the idea of retooling Prime into something similar to it.

I'd be all for a spin-off series that dealt with beastformers, and maybe you could even have the Dinobots serve as bridge between the two series. Or even if they brought back Shockwave leading a third faction that was made-up of beastformers. But the idea of the Prime cast going to another planet and reformatting into animal alt. modes in a no-go for me.

 

Hey that's not a bad hypothesis.

Really did we really asume Hasbro would drop Prime for a more BW based series. But atleast this sounds like we'll get some new beast toys and that's a good thing (when the toys are good) and not like the Bayformer beasts.

I think it'll be transformers online (the chinese game) story in the show + the dinobots. it makes scense, the star seekers are a third fation that "hunt" both cons and bots. also there's the thundertron figure coming out. and the dinobots have been announced for season 3 already. at least theres no more relic hunts.  

 

Probably to take a backseat for the next movie toys again that hits in 2014.
After the movie line is done it will probably come back again either keeping the generations brand or renamed into something else.

 

TFP has risen to god stature. I can't wait for this. I hope to see more information soon.

I almost forgot that the Dinobots are in season 3. Maybe some Decepticon beasties? (except the Insecticons)

 

No re-tooling needed when they're using TakTom's prime molds. The beasts are arms microns.

Read my hypothesis. There will be more relic hunts and the consumer can join in the fun ala Pokemon's "Got catch'em all." Who said that the starseekers are hunting Autobots and Decepticons? I think they are just starSABER seekers.

The one thing I don't like about BW & Cybertron transformers are head and ass hands.

Transformers Prime is the best Transformers series there has ever been, the most complex/multidimensional characters, some of the best story lines, best action and representation of figures in the toys, etc etc. I say that and i grew up with G1!..

I can't believe they are going to piss it all up the wall if they expect us(me) to believe that all sudden they become these beast "thingies". Vehicles OK, but beast thingies please!!!.. Why are they destroying this show? I had hoped they do three seasons, then a movie, then a final fourth and end it.

If they wanted to do a "beast formers" side show along with Prime and possibly some cross storylines characters that's fine, but to turn this great show into beast this and that is a complete travesty. Beast Hunters boring...

It's kind of proof that they can't make a show last longer than two years, i had hoped that TP was the one to go further, but just like Animated and G1 it doesn't go any further, they run out of steam. Beast Hunters is soo obviously not going anywhere except changing everything for little more than the sake of it. Some new toys to sell/buy. That's it.

I want them(Autobots) to go back to Cybertron and restore it, that's the story line, fight for it damn it. Not beast hunting. mehhh. And Michael Bay TF4 Movies can stick it too.

 

Not to mention they confirmed the Dinobots.

I don't think the whole show is going animal, more like some new characters come along (a.k.a Dinobots and whatever) and add the Beast mode part to this.
Anyway these are only possibilities and rumors. Nothing has been confirmed yet, so enjoy the show until then. 

 

Prime new and fresh? its always felt like a rehash of the movie stuff.
