I don't see the harm in doing the conversion. It's obvious the prices will be different outside of japan, and if I didn't, everyone would either ask how much it was, or done the conversion themselves.

Then it's a good thing the only one you'll really need is the one that comes with the system.

 

It does kind've suggest that games that use more than one gamepad will be far and few between, which is a shame. I could totally see starcraft or other RTS games being awesome on the wiiu.

I'm with you on that actually. I much prefer Sunshine to Galaxy. I want one cohesive world, not completely separate worlds accessed through paintings and warping through space and the like.

While that stuff is certainly fun etc, it just doesn't scream Mario to me. If they could manage to make a Mario game a bit more like a Paper Mario but in 3D, I'd have to change pants every time I booted it up.

Very pleased with that. We're getting monster hunter for both WiiU and 3ds, Bayonetta 2, The wonderful 101 looks awesome (and such a better name than p-100), you can steal other players things in ZombiU and NintendoLand not only looks better than i thought, but each mini game has a few modes and comes bundled with the premium pack. Sold! I knew

Now to wait for A) the full release day list and B) it to actually be released =p

Woke up to Bayonetta 2 being a Wii U exclusive. Daymmmmnnnnnn I know for some people that is going to be a megaton. Oh shit! Monster Hunter on Wii U too. Iwata! He brought the bombs!!

 

Saw the live stream, and needless to say, I'm $350 richer. Nothing in that presentation convinced me to pre-order a Wii U.

 

No, I missed it too. Right now all that's "confirmed" for launch day is NintendoLand and NSMBU, but the rumor is between 12 to 15 games. I know LEGO City Undercover said there was going to be a special mini figure as part of the preorder available at launch, so I'd probably add that game to the list of confirmed launch titles as well. We will however be getting at least 50 games between launch and March 2013.

Yeah, they dropped the hammer down on that one.


My laptop was acting up so I missed a little bit. Will that ZombiU pack be coming to the States?

 

Lego City Undercover looks fookin awesome, I love all the little jokes and movie references   I'ma get it on release day. But I'm not so bothered about Lego or minifigs, so maybe I can make a chunk back on the lego dude.

I'd assume so regarding the ZombiU pack, would be pretty stoopid to make it a European thing only. I trust it will, this ain't Hasbro after all  

 

So it looks like I missed the bulk of the conference. Is Zombi U a launch title? How about Rayman?

ZombiU, yes (since there is the said launch bundle announced for only the UK at this moment), and Rayman Legends looks to be out on November 30th.
