Hey everyone. I just wanted to stop by and thank all of you for all your help, time and effort with helping me score stuff for my collection.

However I have decided to stop collecting. I have put all my stuff on ebay (except my hot toys chris reeve superman and masterpiece optimus).

I am in the process of ridding myself of attachments and collecting is a HUGE attachment. After sitting down and looking at my feelings about figures I came to realize I get upset when I don't have the money for a figure I want for my collection, have to pay scalper prices for a rare figure or simply cannot find a figure.

I have been focusing my time and energy into working out 2x a day along with my martial arts training. Since then I have lost 17 lbs and 2 inches off my waist and have gained muscle mass.

Stopped drinking soda, cut out high sodium, more fruits and veggies... I'm feeling a lot better.

I can't believe how much money I had sitting in my cases and I have 2 kids and bills! LOL!

Thank you again everyone for all you past help all these years! I am more than greatful!

I have been a collector since I was 7 years old and now that I am 34, it's time for a change. I need to spend my money on better foods, more workout gear and more training gear.

I will still be around, just not as a collector :thumb

Much love to all of you!

    -Rob

Sad to see you go Rob, its a hard decision, but you're making it for the right reasons. Toss your eBay link up, see if the boardies can help you with those bills/gear fund.

wow OptimusKimchee..... another long time collector.

Well i guess toy collecting does take up a lot of cash and a lot of space. Indeed it totally blows when you don't have enough dough for that one toy. Also doesnt' help with all the bloody scalpers and people trying to make a quick buck now.

Yeah put up a link to the stuff you're getting rid of. I'd certainly like to take a look.

Nothing again tonight at either Puyallup Walmart.

I did not, but since the dinner was free, I had 3 (mini) crusty pups, a burger and a mini-burger with all the fixings, beans, coleslaw, and cookies. I could have pushed it a bit more, but I'm on a diet for gods sake.

Yea, I figure one or two of the tapes will probably topple by the end. Nice pic.

I had one of the bigger cases, and I don't think I even got 1/3 of my crap in there (which got me thinking that I really need to start selling soon). If you want to put one of your many collections in there (anyone) next year, I should have some inside connections so hit me up. I am Puyallup.

May not have made it in the case (too much stuff to go through, not enough space), but I have my original Slugfest and I think a reissue as well.

Good to see you kicking ass and taking names. Be sad to see you leave the community, be sure to check in with us.

Whatever makes you happy, go for it. Just be careful, you never what you're gonna want later and it's ok to find a balance rather then just giving something up cold turkey.

I also finally got around to beating FoC. While I found most of the game ok, the last two chapters were pretty much a Transformer fan's wet dream, for lack of a better term.

You make sure you stick around. Though you might want to see if any locals are interested in parts of your collection, it'll save yourself the ebay listing fees and other fees associated.

As soon as foc bruticas starts hitting major saturation I will have to pick a 2nd swindle. I haven't heard anything about foc bruticas even being spotted here in Washington state.

couldn't have said it any better myself. About time someone broke it down.

translation (or what you really mean) = "now I know what you look like so I can shank you as soon as I spot you in my area...." *sharpens shank*

Glad one of us grew up. Best of luck to you, Rob! Don't be a stranger even though you're done with the plastic crack habit. It takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to quit cold turkey. Much respect, bro.

Thanks a lot for the support everyone! I added my eBay ID.

Yeah Ben I know I should have, but I'm a scatter brain collector now and mostly just get Optimus and Superman stuff, figured no one would be all that much interested, lol

Yeah I will keep in touch for sure. I still might be able to make it to the meet up the 29th... depends on my tournament training schedule that week. Would love to just hang out for a bit with everyone again. :thumb
