Finally shipped my POL with the Green Giant in it, received it today, and HOLY RUSTED METAL BATMAN....these things FAR surpassed my expectations. As an owner of a Ptitevite-stator, upgraded G1, and Hercules, these guys are hands down my individual constructicons. I love the combined mode too and it gives my Ptitevite-style one a run for the money, but doesn't quite catch it - a better head mold and it would though. The colors, the individual flair/personality...these are my most satisfying purchase in a while. All that said, I've been *trying* to remain relatively spoiler free on these guys (avoiding transformation vids and the like) so I could enjoy opening them a bit more and I have a few questions if someone would be so kind as to oblige me... 1) I'm almost certain there was some minor modding offered up to make the front-loader's (Scrapper's) shoulders and head have more clearance...can anyone point me to that? 2) I've already gone through the various transformations once (hopefully without damage), but without reading this whole thing, what are some major points to watch for? 3) Anything else someone who hasn't followed this whole thing in detail would want to know? Thanks!
Custom made Classics Devastator, our member Ptitvite used to make them on order for other members, a few years back. I think the customs part of the forum is still full of similar threads.

Just have to say, got my Green Giant today courtesy of kavemon3, all I can say is this thing is so frickn sweet. I had Herc, and hands down for me this is the better of the 2 in my opinion. I love the bot modes, vehicle modes, and the combined mode. He goes great with my FP Brute, towers over FP Superion, but oh well. The details are so good, I know alot of people do not like the red and white stripes, but to me it just adds more reality to it. Cant wait to get more time to play with this guy.
I finally got this got on preorder. It's just a matter of patience now. I'm sure it's been brought up before but I just need a simple yes or no. Is there any QC issues with this set whats so ever? An I don't care about tacky instructions either.
I just recieved my Green Giant yesterday from ToyArena and couldnt be happier. I did notice that when I tried to put on the other head that it was extremely tight, so tight in fact that I was afraid to move it when it was on so I took it off and put the other back on. Has anyone else had a really tight head joint on the 2nd head?
Yeah, mine was extremely tight out of the package. It felt like I was gonna twist the ball off the neck post just by turning it. But eventually it loosened up as I kept using it.
depends really Im more then happy with my yellow. but the changes and the 2 heads make it worth it if your not set on it being yellow
Agreed. I am more than happy with my yellow version. However, the small modifications they did to Mobile Crane and the head sculpt would definitely be welcome if Maketoys is listening.
I honestly would be surprised of it even comes out in September. Really thinking its coming next month.
