Quickstrike was the one I saw. Damn it. At least they're hitting the area. Now to wait for saturation...
G1Prowl...I don't know where you live, but here in Bloomington our KMarts seemed to get in quite a few cases of those figures. They both did toy aisle resets recently and were stuffed with them. I don't know if all KMarts did a reset at the same time or not, but it might be worth checking out.
so by a strange set of coincidences, my vehicon wasnt in walmarts system because it included a dvd, but a snafu at the register let me buy it for less than a regular deluxe. today so far is a win
GREAT NEWS!!! TRU in Greenwood has 4 (now 3) Thundercrackers for thise NON-SCALPERS looking for one. I JUST picked one up.
That is really good news, since it confirms that stores can get more than one shipment (I would assume they will keep restocking until the warehouse is empty.)
The down side to all this is, according to the employee i was talking too, Thier last two shipments, ONE guy bought most of them. They are not allowed to set a limit on purchases. He said they got 4 last saturday and that one guy bought all 4. Damn scalpers, they ruin it for everyone sometimes.
That pretty much verifies our suspicion about the Greenwood guy on EBay and in this thread, then. Hoping my TC is waiting for me at home today.
See here. Got my Thundercracker today! MP-11, MP-03, and PP03T. Even figured out a good excuse for Skywarp's hip kibble. DSCN0014 by dhumphreys2012, on Flickr
OK guys, you're pretty much beating a dead horse here. Let it go already. I bought three on Saturday (they got in four but I won't say where the fourth one went, but I can guarantee that it has absolutely "no shelf" wear). I listed two to flip and put the third in my collection. Big friggin deal. TRU rarely ever gets just one shipment of anything. Their inventory system is set up to stagger the shipments based on sell through time and minimum inventory amounts that trigger a computer generated restock from the DC. And as you can see, they absolutely got more in and they will get more in after that. I rarely ever scalp, but when I do it is generally very minimal (I have never even purchased one of your precious Vehicons, but I have seen plenty). 99% of my store inventory comes from other collectors who are looking to move excess parts of their collection or who are selling out. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about what I do. I would be concerned about where that fourth one went. There is a much bigger story to that. And hey, at least be fair about your accusations......... Transformers G1 TRU Masterpiece Thundercracker MISB Sealed | eBay .......I didn't see anyone complaining about this guy from Terre Haute.
I will be the first in line to apologize. I am one who gets frustrated when trying to find transformers and my only option is to pay double on ebay. If your not scalping, then all is cool. As for the TRU employee, thier perception is all it was. dont sweat it. Now, has ANYONE seen the new TF Prime figures out yet here in Indy? Thunderwing, Kup and such?
Let me give you a little hint about knowing when to hit a TRU....... Watch the truck bay on the back of the store that faces County Line Road. There are two bays. If the trailer that is backed up to the bay changes sides at some point during the day, it is a good bet to be there the next morning. It is difficult if you don't happen to be drinving by there daily, but at least you can kind of keep an eye on that if you are in that area a lot. Also, have patience. With the exception of the end of line waves, rarely has there ever been a Transformer that has truly been difficult to find. The only major ones that I can recall being truly hard to find were Energon Ultra Magnus and Alternators Swerve.
