what did you guys think. i was impressed with his design as well as his fighting skill. his VA gives a unique distint voice that is both cynical and threatening. and dat gun of his oh yes

 

I have mixed feelings on Prime's Shockwave.

His voice seems strange, I need to get used to a new voice.

He looked great, but he somehow he didn't really move me not like the past Shockwave.

He looked cool. That was about it. He didn't seem memorable in my opinion, and he didn't leave any sort of impact on me. He felt like he was just there for fanwank.

 

he did have his downsides too, i felt that his presence wasn't srong enough to leave a lasting impression. i like his one liners but i was hoping for him to contact megs in the present after miko and rc were holding hands -_- just to give us a little teaser of his role in the show later on

 

He definitely had a Dark of the Moon vibe going for him (design wise). Unfortunately he didn't come across as memorable in the slightest.

 

For me Corey Burton will always be the true Shockwave.

 

Love his design but I dislike his voice.

 

I loved his voice and design. this episode def wasn't HIS episode but it was more like a cameo lol

 

He needs to return before I can form a full opinion. He isn't a character right now.
He does have an awesome design though.

 

honestly though, this was not the proper way to introduce shockwave. this episode completly downplays it by being an arcee centric episode. as if we don't have enough of those.they couldn't think of a better way to bring shockwave into the picture then a flashback. shockwave didn't even appear until ten minutes into the episode. the only reason he seems lacking is because he was barely there.

 

It was cool to see a voice actor from Beast Wars return


Otherwise, I don't care about Shockwave

 

Looks cool methinks... basically the DotM Shockwave put in the Primeverse design-wise.

Only a few lines regarding logic... and of course, the illogical act of going into the portal... eh...

 

Horrible! The mandate where writers post Autobots as Gods and Decepticons as fools got old a season ago.

Give the people who can't stand a new show already!

Don't worry, there's a 99% chance he's still alive and will probably make an appearance again somewhere down the line.

 

He didn't act like a Shockwave, he doesn't fight or think very well.

It's not logical to leave Starscream with anything or anyone, as he most likely knew. (You could tell that they had a past of arguing between each other or you just know that from Fall of Cybertron.)
It's logical to check if the Autobot is truly dead.
It's not logical to run in to a Space bridge that's about to blow up to kill Autobots.

The design was ok.

The voice sucked, I would much rather Steve Blum playing him and his voice for Shockwave was also bad. Seriously, has Hasbro lost touch with Corey Burton or something?
After his animated role as Shockwave, it's hard to even imagine him without Burton's voice.
