Wow...this is the first time I have ever seen a game demo get pulled only a week after the final game is released.

 

What about the people who already downloaded it? Did it become defunct?

 

I think one of the Need For Speed games did something like that. I think it's a bad idea. I realize they want the people to buy the full game instead but sometimes playing the demo will get people to do that where they wouldn't have otherwise. For example - I had never even heard of Enslaved and then after I tried the demo I looked up more info about it I went and bought it.

 

Why not just buy the game? you're wasting your time sitting here complaining about something so little. Go out and buy it and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Cause the damn point of a demo is to try before you buy. I already have to game I was just pointing out an interesting thing.

 

I know plenty of people have tried the demo, so if you have the game there really isn't any worries then i suppose.

Are we sure the demo is down? This isn't like when everyone started screaming "FUUUUUUUUUU" when the WFC severs were down for like five minuets right? I just played the WFC demo a few days ago, no idea why they'd yank this new demo when the other has been active for years.

 

Yeah just checked again, not on xbox.com ether anymore. You can redownload it though if you already had it, but if you're new and wanted to checkout the demo you're SOL.
