I always wondered why these particular Beasts have a 'dead' mode, IIRC I have a couple of the Dinosaurs from Beast Machines and never quite understood it. Cool and all but baffling. Especially the T-rex (or whatever) whose 'dead' mode was supposed to be a flower growing out from him or summat.
