I'm getting a 30% off Discount for the game when I trade in some old ones.

 

I think that text meant you could get an additional 30% credit on your used games when you apply them to FoC. (so if your used game would normally have sold for $1.00 you can now get $1.30! Yay.) Unless of course you've already calculated it and your total trade in amounts to 30% off the price.

 

Thanks for the help, I think I'll just bring the card, since I lost the receipt.  
Also, I didn't officially finish the online card sign up because, at the part where you list stuff like all the systems you have and stuff, and game genres you play, I filled in EVERYTHING but it told me I missed something.

 

Actually yes, gamestop sent me a text;

"Gamestop: Your transformers:cybertron order avail Tues AM. 30% bonus credit on your trade to reduce price. Info# _______"

Fantastic that they tell me how to save money on the game when I already put down full price on it lmao

youre welcome bud. i'm not really sure how it goes in your parts, but around here it's usually the clerk that signs us up for the card. the store sales clerks will offer you the card and they ask you questions and plug in the info and give you the card. but yeah, bring in your card to that Gamestop where you got it from tomorrow there shouldn't be any problems.

 

I got a text from Gamestop today saying my game will be available for pickup tomorrow. I can also get a 30% bonus credit on trades to help lower the price.

I've never needed a receipt, power up rewards member or not. Before the rewards card most of the time I just need to tell them my name (at stores I know the people) or show them ID. I've even had my wife pick up my games after asking if that was okay and they make a note.

Also, got the text about an hour ago that it will be available in the am.

 

My phone did ring....but i didn't pick it up in time....Could have been my call....I'll never know now...

 

Yeah I can just tell GS my phone number and I'm golden, but having my card is more convenient.

 

Gamestop just left a message on my phone. Fall of Cybertron will be available for pick up tomorrow morning!

 

I just received a text message that it will be there tomorrow and to come get it...

 

Agh! Stop talking about the text! It's gonna make fallofcybertroning asleep even harder!!!

Gamestop: Hey just calling to inform you that your copy of Fall of Cybertron will be available tomorrow

Me: METROPLEX HEEDS THE CALL OF THE GAMESTOP EMPLOYEE!

Gamestop: ..... *hangs up*

 

I got the call a few minutes ago, kinda didn't realize it was coming out tomorrow, so cool.

"why are they calling a week in advance about Fall of... oooh..."

 

I got my text telling me to come by in the am. One of the other local gamestops still has it listed as 8/28  

 

the text also said something like bring a trade in to get as much as 30% off store credit bonus... I wonder if any PS3 game can do ??

 

I got a text a couple hours ago. Gonna pick it up tomorrow after work.
