I won't stop ordering FP figures by any means through this experience. At this point, I'm patiently waiting despite my comments that may sound impatient. I know I was late to order (which was honestly just because I didn't know when it went live) so I know I will be one of the later orders shipped. Some people do have real issues, and some people have gotten too upset, but I still like discussing it.

My only criticism has been of their tone in both the "WTF. Where's My Warbot?" update and e-mail responses. When I give someone my hard earned money for either services or products I feel I am entitled to some respect when I have a legitimate concern. Attempting to make customers feel like an inconvenience is no way to run a business. If customers were spamming their servers with questions that had already been addressed or if those answers were easily visible on their site, then I could understand their frustration. However, that wasn't the case. Their first response about the situation was on August 8. Eight days after their ambiguous July 31st shipping date and weeks after other customers were receiving early shipments. Despite their lack of information and their late response, customers concerns should be made to feel as an added inconvenience? Yeah, that didn't sit well with me.

Yes this figure looks awesome and yes I would have preferred to have received mine sooner than later. However, I knew it would eventually get here. My only gripe was how they addressed their customers, people who have paid for this item in full and in advance. I appreciate the update but I don't appreciate the tone.

Right. But everyone lets them get away with it. But when FP has an issue... :bay

Hellbot you hit the nail on the head.

I didn't know if some of the people coming in here to protect FPC from a fictional mob forgot or just ignored that this is a business at the bottom line. Even if it's in a hobby derived from a child toys. And albeit it is their first time and things may have gone astray with shipping a professional representation should always be upheld. By answering emails or releasing a update that isn't snide in response.

Eh? Judging by all the rote hyperbole and threats of /ragequitting in the iGear PP05 thread, I just don't see where everyone is giving iGear a pass. XD

Besides, don't all 3Ps infringe on IPs? Even FP. Even Steel Core, who has his design basis in Armada Overload and the Breastforce/Heartmaster gimmick?

How can you say they're reliable when there's no history to boot?

FP in general has been reliable. Like how their Insecticons came out nice and quick. Minimal QC issues, and when there are some they fix it. They rarely have issues, and when they do, they repair it asap. They're good.

FansProject is reliable - sure... I can agree with that... I can't say for FansProjectCore. Though they have a tie-in with FP, the store still doesn't have a history to back itself up. Previous releases of FansProject figures were done via a middleman like BBTS / TFSource, etc.

FP sent out replacement blades for Thundershred with Stormbomb. There's history. I got two stars for Thundershred now.

Yes, FP did... But, we're talking about FansProjectCore. FPC has a relationship with FP, but they are not FP per se.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that... This is the first time that they have a store for FansProject designs. So, they are basically starting with a store's history. And note that this store has a partnership with A3U and they still have had issues. I do hope that they fix their issues in the upcoming releases. Also note, I was one of the first few who got their SC early.

And they are a group FP clearly trusts. Not enough?

Again, we're talking about the history of the store... Not FP itself.

    Impatience plagues this thread.

    What a shame.

There's some truth to that, but there's also some sort of miscommunication from FPC's part.

Hey, I didn't get a Steel Core today in the mail. Of course I didn't order one, but since everyone else was reporting they didn't get anything in the mail either, I figured I wanted to be part of the party!

Tomorrow I plan to not get a Steel Core again. I'll let you know.

I know a cure for that plague- send out the figures to everyone like a normal company! BAM!
