I have a challenge for anyone man enough to try,

Using kre-o bricks can you make the autobots command center from the G1 cartoon, complete with teletran 1 and maybe a medic/repair bay,
I'm gunna suggest start by using the bigger bumblebee pack (yellow bricks are a nice ark yellow)

I'd really want to try this myself but I have one problem..

I unnoo. I went on a pub llubch from work at 12....i suppose im still technically on luncj!? Its 2 4 1 and it bought at least 4 so times that tbe 2 4 1. I totally get what your saying. I don't buy many action figures, as you say, probably for this very reason (and the lack of transforming, of course!). Joints and hinges just look natural on a robot toy. Can't stop me loving my lean, green, fighting machine however!

What's up with 82? Haven't read it yet. Gotta say, I've never been a massive furman fan. His writing is very starchy. I mainly bought 81 for the wonderfully retro Roddy/magnus/kup cover...

 

They often have those big money off events this time of year though to November - like the Sainsbury's Half Price toy event.

I actually got my Newer Xbox 360 that way I was able to both double Clubcard vouchers and get 25% off only cost me £59.00 in the end. - they've not have consoles on the clubcard vouchers since as far as I have noticed though. if they did the same thing again I'm beginning to wonder if I should buy a Ps3 - or is it so near the end of its life cycle now should I just wait another year or two until it's been replaced. or superseeded by another new model I hear there's a Ps3 Slimline coming out sometime - though I don't remember what it looks like.

They still cost a couple of Hundred which is still a bit more than I want to pay. I even wonder if I should buy the games I want and then rent one. and then buy one later one when they are giving them away.

The current gen. of consoles aren't going to fade out anytime soon. The tech development has slowed to a crawl and the economic climate isn't right anyway.

Personally, I can't say enough good things about PS3 & The 'new' PS Network. They've upped their game big time, pricing vs Xbox is very favorable when you factor in all the hidden costs MS sneak in (such as online subs) and you'll discover the best exclusives of this generation. Just get the multiplatform games for xbox as the PS3 versions are often hack-jobs. Especially Bethesda games.

Top tip: buy cheap PS3 and upgrade with a standard laptop HDD to save serious money. My slimline & 1TB HDD cost me under £200.

 

FOC the game is due august 24 x the toys sometime this month supposedly x yes so time to take apart prid bee x muhahahahahaha x

As for the Terminator films, Salvation is fine if you don't compare it with the first two, I think people had expectations which were far too high after the dismal third one.

But...

Rise of the Machines was ok if you concentrate on Kristanna Loken and ignore everything else...

 

Finally found time to open Bruticus. I really like him although I'm not sure if he's worth the £180 or so I'd paid to get him. I'm gambling that even if Takara release Bruticus in similar colours to the SDCC version, there may be stickers and ugly micron ports to ruin it, as that seems to be their current thing, having given up on random chrome and mis-matching metallic paint.

However, my favourite new toy is still Generations Hot Spot. Money well spent with Erector.

The G3 trailer will look nice with Henkei Prime although, having opened the trailer and closed it back up again, there's not much to do with it. I've no interest in the 'oh look I'm invisible and haven't really turned into a huge mirrored box' gimmick.

 

Anybody interested in some G1 stuff? I'm getting ready to put them on ebay either tonight or tomorrow. PM me for a list if anyone is interested.

 

Not looking for any G1 stuff Per se, but if anyone happens to have a one of the flip-out grey ramps for G1 powermaster prime, let me know!

I'm also shoving a load of stuff on ebay tomorrow. Some of it is stuff i've purchased from you guys recently, bit its either a.) a double of something I already own, b.) Something that is very 'now' and in demand, and therefore sellable! or c.) something I didn't really bond with! What you should take away from this is that i'm a bit skint, but I really do appreciate the stuff you've sold me!

Going up for sale will be GDO Cliff (starting bid of £16), FoC Jazz (£11), Prime Vehicon (£13), Prime Cliff (£5), Animated Grimlock (£12), Set of four bot shots (£8), and wave one of Prime CV commanders plus two vehicons (£15). There will also be lego minifigure bits. I'll happily listed to private offers from you guys if interested, just be aware I've priced them to entice a few quids worth of bids, and won't pull, say, vehicon for the £13 starting bid.

Coool, look forward to it, i guess using 2 bee sets will do the trick, and its not as if you cant use the black/grey pieces as walls and foundations and such, as all the yellow needs to be on show,

I like the idea of using the stretcher that comes with the kre-o ratchet set as the medic bay chair (still shocked hes £5 in asda - what a steal)

I also like the idea of using the wheel arches that come with bees sets as the thrusters on the exterior of the ark,

Honestly a outside and inside ark kre-o play set would convert many to the cause,
