Everyone definitely got it right with drama. I will admit, I said some pretty dumbass things to get over her. But that's life, live and learn.

Aeranoth, by "not a crush" I meant the girl actually told me "I really really like you, not some stupid little crush" so that's where I got that from.

I was best friends with my ex before we started dating, so yes we were in the same "social circle" of sorts.

Now the super fun part is, in the group of five in my ex's "friendship group", there's my ex and one of her best friends, who consistently bitch about me all the time, the girl who likes me and one of her best friends are telling them to shut up about it all, and the girl I like is just listening. I'll simplify this as best I can. My ex is A. A and one of her best friends B are the ones talking shit about me. C is the girl who likes me, and D is her best friend. A, B, C and D are all best friends or "BFF's" as they used to put it. Now E, the girl I like, has only just started hanging out with my ex in the last week. She used to hang out with another group of girls, who I am good friends with. Of the five girls, C, D and E I'm all really friendly with anyway, particularly C and E.



I can't explain stuff to save my life, so I apologise. But I can't tell you all how much I appreciate this.

No, but most of the others are either in a relationship or unattractive (or rather, not the kind of person I would date).

 

Convince the girl you like to have a 3some with you and the girl who likes you, that way 1) you can sleep with the girl you like 2) the girl who likes you can sleep with you and 3) it'll make the EX who dumped you so jealous that she'll probably get back with you because a guy who gets attention from girls always look more attractive to other girls.

 

I said it before, in a high school situation you will not come between the 5 girls and survive.

No. I am listening to everyone's advice carefully. But in the end, advice will help someone decide what they want to do, so it is always the OP doing what they want.

The girl who says "it's not a crush" is probably crushing. Does she know you well? Does she have a good enough idea of who you are and what you're like that her attraction to you is not superficial? If not, it's a crush. If so, you're dating within your circle of friends and that's usually a recipe for disaster. Either case, you don't sound interested in her, let her know this and for fuck's sake don't string her along if you have no intention of dating her, unless you want an entire social circle out for your blood.

I don't know how often I can state this: DON'T DATE WITHIN YOUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, DON'T DATE BEST FRIENDS OF YOUR EXES. IT IS A SINCERELY BAD DECISION, ESPECIALLY IN HIGH SCHOOL. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR ROMANTIC COMPANIONSHIP.

Given that you don't even know if E is interested in dating you, it's just not worth the hassle.

 

I have never been accused of not knowing how to spell or write properly, quite frankly I am trying my best. I apologise if I don't have the adult fandom's spectacular grammar skills.

Edit: I never had any intention to date my ex's best friend. It is, and always will be, a terrible idea to me. I have let her know this.

Don't take it personally, these threads happen twice a day. I will say you seem to have more of a head on your shoulders, but your still a teenager. We all fucked up, and I think we would like to see you take our advice. I still think you should try my threesome scheme. If it works, you'll have a good story for life. Get as far away from your ex make the one you like jelous by going out with the one who likes you if by some means you end up liking her back go further with that one.
