oh thank you now i feel like an idiot. i have transformed him 4 times with the quite frankly sexily curved armor and no damage it is just going to make the paint/varnish scary to do lol.

but thank you very much for making this set and when my next batch of student finance i will be buying at the very least the arcee and prime sets. i would have got them with this set but i got 3 Vehicons instead

oh and do you think you will make breakdowns shoulder cannon and two hammers maybe a block to put in the gap that is left.

I can't quite figure out the "transformed-arm" look either. I'm not sure what to do with the hand, and when I try to clip on the handle piece it pops off, and I don't know how to position the hand to get it closed all the all.

[IMG] Here's what I have so far

Mine still keeps sliding out because it's not clipping onto the ribbed part properly :(

    Hi Jeffy,

Jogproof got it right, the handle clips onto the ribbed part. And yes, if it doesn't fit you probably have to find the source of obstruction and sand it down. And it helps keep the pieces in by clamping over them with the door window/hand panel.

When the hands are folded in, the thumb points towards the door. There is a gap where the thumb slids in and enables the panel to fold flat. I think Jog's photo illustrates the position of the thumb and weapons pretty well.

EDIT: Here it is painted, had to use my phone camera. Sorry for the abysmal quality.

My set arrived today and I'm dancin' on sunshine Ariel, awesome AWESOME add-ons! Thank you so much. Can't wait for your Airachnid set, cuz that figure sucks as is. Again, so many thanks for KO stuff!

EDIT: To anyone on the fence about this set, don't delay, act now! Was admiring KO last night after both hand attachments had been added. It's just amazing how much more depth and enjoyment this set brings to the figure. KO was already pretty much great, but this pushes him to the beyonds of cool. Also, setting him next to Breakdown... well... almost brings a tear to the eye.

My one tiny complaint though, Ariel. The printing method I used must have shrunk the parts ever so slightly, because his electro-pole doesn't plug into his back and the motor attachment that goes on his buzz saw had to be superglued in place. Not sure if this can be compensated for somehow in the modeling stage, but I just wanted to give you a heads up.

I finally got around to painting my pieces. Not the greatest paint job, but from a distance it looks amazing.

I do have on problem about getting things to stick in. Ariel, I tried what you said but I'm still having trouble getting the weapons to stay in :/

Also, one of the shoulders is fine,
    [IMG]

but the other one I think I cut a little too much off the peg, so now it won't stay pegged on.

Do you know of any ways to remedy this without sacrificing the folding? They fit in the undercarriage, fine, too.

I highly recommend this set. Out of 100, I'd say default Knock Out was a 50. The Reprolables brought it up to around 80. This set brings it to a 100. With both upgrades, this is my all time favorite Prime figure. But I'm character-biased :p  lol

be less tempted and just get it it is an amazing set that just looks fantastic and even that is ramped up by this kit.

oh and fakebusker are you planing any thing for ratchets blowtorch thing, any relics (the resonance blaster for soundwave would be fantastic) or a set of guns for the Vehicon's as the Hasbro ones are so cash intense and my microns are just to big (i have never said that before lol).

The only thing preventing me from pulling the trigger is the $200 Shapeways order I made last month. Oh also my Green Giant just came in so there goes another $350. I need to cut back on stuff for a while.

ouch what did you get. but when you can i would recommend them highly and although it shouldn't be that much when my money comes in i am splurging on most of the prime weapons and if you got any of those what did you get them in? i am thinking FUD for prime blades and arcee's stuff for the sharp edges

Anyone used White Stronge & Flexible Polished?
I'm wondering if that is a better material for a less pore-ish outlook.

This what I ordered and it looks great (although it is the first thing I ordered, I can't compare). I have not finished painting it yet but will post pics once I do.

WSFP is still porous. It is literally WSF that has gone through another process to smooth it. It's not AS porous but it still is. My Thuggers in my sig are WSFP if you want to seem some painted.
