Well I've decided to make the remaining 3 Pre-BW predacons so I have a complete set. I choosen the Yellow Cybertron Scrapmetal as Tarantulas, Cybertron Shortround as Scorponok and the RM Air Glide as Terrorsaur. I have Started to do ruff digital kit-bahses to get an I dea of what to do, I have Tarantulas done along with his character art, I wnat your opinions on the choosen color scheme:
I kinda liked Tarantulus as Ransack, even though they gave it to Rattrap. And the old guy on Speed Planet,,, I would have used him for Rattrap. V what he said V
for bottin up cold.. its tarantulAs.. A not U never thought id still be correcting ppl on this 10 years later! with that said, excelent job on the model!
After some consideration, I have decided that I will do Depth Charge and Protoform-X as well. I've picked the Menasor mold as per suggestion of TheAFNYGuy from Tfans for Protoform-X. As for Depth Charge, I'm going to do designs with both the Jetfire/Sky Shadow and the Soundwave mold (also as per suggestion by TheAFNYGuy) to see which on looks better. I should have my Terrorsoar Art work and designs up in the next day or so.
Here's Pre-Beast War Terrorsaur, whom I am calling Terrorsoar. He will be a repaint of RM Air Hunter, being he Air Hunter will be the easiest of this mold to get my hand on.
I always thought of Tarantulas as a repaint of TF Cyb DIrt Boss, but him as Scrapmetal makes him better! ^.=.^
Scrapmetal suits Scorponok 10 times more than he does Tarantulas imo. Ransack would suit the spiderbot infitly better. Terrorsoar looks good there, but I'd MUCH rather see a jet that DIDN'T look like an Earth jet (they bungled that on waspinator too, even if he does look good, it simply does not suit). Though if you are going to keep Terry as that figure then i'd suggest ditching the purple and using blue instead. Shortround as Scorponok? doesn't work for me. so Shortround has claws too, big whoop. In the show Tarantulas didn't have claws until after he took on a beast form, why couldn't that be the same for Scorponok? despite all my rambling, i'm still keen to see what you do with this project
