So.... I am pretty ashamed to admit that I have never transformered my:

- MP Megatron
- MP04!
- Warbot defender
- MP Grimlock
- FP insecticons
- FP explorer and munitioner

I am so ashamed. Just was afraid to break em at first, now it's been so long, I just left it the way it was.

Anyone else hiding like me?

 

Nope, I've transformed everything at least once

 

For a very long time I kept my War for Cybertron Optimus, Soundwave, and the Walmart exclusive Sideswipe recolor in package for collector purpose and selling them later on, but I thought to my self..."Why buy toys that I WANT..And sell later that I might regret?" So in the end I just took theme out the package a week ago and began messing with them, and fell in love with them. I also learned on these forums that "Why buy a toy, when your not even go to play with it?".   And I applaud you members of TFW2005.

Well they are all opened and displayed, just never transformed. I may do my Grimlock real soon. I don't think I could be convinced to transform megatron though.

Yeah.. I have all those molds except 2 of the Insecticons.
The only ones on your list I have transformed are Grimlock and the Insecticon I have (Shrapnel),
I also havn't transformed movie leaderclass Starscream, Sentinel and a few Alternators and Binaltechs.
I began transforming MP Megatron once, but I quickly gave up and restored the robot mode.

 

MP Megatron was the only figure I didn't transform. Tried and gave up. Too adrenaline pumping I could not handle.

 

I have every figure on your list and transformed them all. Every figure has had at least one transformation done on it. Everyone always talked about being so afraid of MP Megs, but I just took my time, and transformed him following video reviews and had no issues.

Are the MP fragile? Why scared to transform

 

It was a, I spent $250 on this guy, I am afraid of breaking him thing.

 

Not nessecarily fragile, just QC issues. A part being weaker than it should be, something just poorly designed, or just flat out BS like the original MP Starscream/Seeker mold's wings cracking for no reason, etc.

Although in Megatron's case I've heard he is infact quite fragile.

This is why I stopped buying MPs, and high dollar things in general, after importing a first run MP-2. Especially after people started having their MPs break on them. Just can't justify spending that kind of dough on something I'd probably never mess with for fear of it breaking.

I'm guilty of not ever transforming something too though. I've never once transformed my Energon Unicron(black version). No need to I guess since I already had the Armada version prior to it.

 

I'm ashamed to admit that I have hundreds of Transformers, thousands of dollars worth of toys, all stored in bins in a closet. None have seen the light of day for quite some time due to having moved and failing to devote the time it takes to put displays up, transforming several hundred figures.

 

Don't feel bad, it's no big deal... I have a bunch I never transformed either.

 

I transform my toys, except those that are repaints or with minor remolds.

 

yeah I transform everything at least once, even the expensive shit.
if it breaks oh well. haven't had much breaking yet aside from my own stupidity at times so I'm pretty comfortable messing around with them most days.

 

I've never gotten a Transformer & just keep in that mode because I'm scared to do it, but I do something similar to it. I made a custom Superion with Battle Roller's weapons (all of them, right down to the giant peg for a Masterpiece figure), Drift's twin swords, & A Marvel Crossover The Thing car version's hands. I just leave it as a display piece most of the time. I can barely balance him because he's so top heavy. Plus, whenever I do turn him into his components, I dread having to put him back into Superion & trying to balance him for about 5 minutes. He has so many parts that it's a hassle just to transport him from one room to another, let alone from one home to another.

I've never transformered 2 of my alternators for fear of scratching their lovely paint job.

 

If it comes packaged in bot mode, it will probably stay that way forever. Notable exceptions to this would be Henkei Megatron, Skywarp, Ultra Magnus (both from two-pack), and the Legends class toys.
