This and Warbot in alt modes posed with stands would look pretty cool.

 

flightpose stands will work. If not the medium, then the large for sure. Prices aren't too bad either. If you get the three-pack, I believe you can mix and match the arms to put stuff in more extreme poses.

 

I was looking for more flight stands and this is perfect. Yeah these will definitely work for Assaulter. They don't seem all that tall though.

I really am looking forward to this figure I just need them to open a pre-order and release date would also be nice too because they seem to move pretty quickly once they have a working prototype. Just would like to see some finished paint shots.

 

missed that post and really sorry i did. your coloring looks great! on a design note...has anyone noticed that assaulter's back is completely hollow and only covered by the nose of the jet? just noticed this.

 

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it awhile ago.

Doesn't really bother me all that much. A good deal of Transformers kinda fall apart when looking at them from the back.

The way Assaulter handles it isn't terrible. There's something occupying all of his gaps, he's just not "airtight".

i really like teh alt mode for this thing. is this thing a single alt mode or a triple changer? personally even if its not a triple chagner, the armored plane mode is cool. almost reminds me of an alpha fighter from robotech (legioss from mospeada) in that its a plane but armored and bulky. i didn't like the concept art but the proto pictures look so damn good. i also like that is it bigger than teh otehr two...should be even bigger IMO, like MP seeker height would be awesome but this will do. might have to get it. preorders are not up as far as i can tell right?

Plus, this is obviously the Triplechanger Broadside... We figure the 3rd mode is a Cybertronian Assault Ship, rather than the out of scale Aircraft Carrier.

Jet-mode definitely gives off a Macross/Robotech vibe.

 

Wonder if Assaulter will have a gerwalk mode.

 

Probably not, since the figure transforms completely atypically compared to most jet transformers. The wings are part of the legs, mainly, and a key part of gerwalk is that the wings remain in jet position.

 

Looks awesome, except for the head imo. The plain white just looks unfinished.
