Hopefully they will come sometime soon, along with a Windcharger repaint/retool (Tailgate?) Like I mentioned above, a Rumble/Frenzy 2-pack could probably be sold at the Voyager price.

I still wonder if that Walmart set with Combat Hero Optimus and G2-like Jazz is coming and if it will also have legends Thundercracker & Motormaster, who will apparently also be at TRU. They could be axed from the box set or changed to other characters like Skywarp, Sunstorm, Nemesis Prime, Ultra Magnus, etc...

Everything else is an easy pass.

 

Hot Spot's definately on the buy list, especially since Inferno slipped though my grasp.

Lazer Beak, I get a movie vibe from him ("Too bad I have to suicide you Gary") but again, I passed on that mold too and I love the colors this time out.

For the most part,,, repaints repaints repaints yawn.

BTW if Hasbro insists on repainting everything, will we ever get the "He never really existed" BLUE/YELLOW Bluestreak? Admit it, it would make a bitchin' con exclusive.

 

They are release Rumble and Frenzy here. In the disk form, that goes with the new Voyager Soundwave/blaster/otherblaster mold. I can't see them bringing out yet ANOTHER Classics type of them on top of that.

And they're also getting toys in Prime, too.

I want Tailgate so bad. Soooooo baaaaaaaaaaaad. So bad, that I'm contemplating nabbing the Japanese 2 pack w/the black Con repaint, and using the RTS Windcharger I already got to repaint into Tailgate. I neeeeeeeeeeeed Tailgate, he's just an awesome character.

What's this Combat Hero Prime, G2 Jazz and etc you mention? Where did we see info about these before? This is the first time I heard about such things.

I got a spare Inferno, I was ironically going to repaint into Hot Spot, until I heard rumors of him coming to Asia months ago. And now with the news he's hitting TRU, I could be talked into parting with him.

I was thinking of repainting him into Artfire, although I also got a spare PCC Smolder that could be a wicked Artfire too.

That substitution for that multipack would be too awesome to happen. I can easily see Skywarp never getting released stateside. And Hasbro hates me, so no Nekkid Magnus Legends class for me.

Really? Because Laserbeak got a DotM Deluxe, is getting the same disk treatment, was in Prime as an accessory, and is coming out in this line as a Scout. I don't think Legends-class release of Rumble/Frenzy would preclude a larger one.

 

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about this at SDCC? Perhaps it got cancelled?

DoTM is not G1/Classics, nor, technically, is Prime. Also, Laserbeak's releases are spread out over a rather long period of the year.

And his freebie pack-in with Soundwave probably 'doesn't count' for Hasbro, since it doesn't take up a spot in a wave somewhere.

I'd just have doubts of two guys, both supposed to be in the same continuity/toyline, both looking alike enough, both being just one size class difference, coming out close together.

Besides, I'd be hoping they did a Tailgate from RTS Windcharger first, for a spot in an inevitable/potential Scout wave.

Of course, I'd have absolutely no problem with Hasbro doing a 4 pack of the Scouts - Rumble, Frenzy, Tailgate and Windcharger (he needs a bigger release). That would be awesome. I'd buy multiple packs.

Weird. Why do the ones showed at SDCC have English and Asian writing? The set I just got are all in English. And the set I have are the actual Asian versions. I haven't opened them yet so I don't know about the directions.

 

Is Asia exclusive Cliffjumper coming to the US?

I was at the SDCC panel, and they indicated they were not realeasing the First Edition regular Cliffjumper in the US. (Instead, they are releasing Terrorcon Cliffjumper as a FE.) But maybe that's because they are releasing Asia Exclusive Cliffjumper in the US. Thanks!
