Getting blaster just hope he comes with all discs instead of just steeljaw

 

Blaster is ok. It's good that he's a voyager. It sucks that he's a Soundwave retool though. I'd display him with deluxe WFC Soundwave since his G1 toy was way bigger than G1 Soundwave.

Grimlock is very nice.

 

Actually...why? Is it just the principle of the thing? With that head and chest and color scheme I'm hard-pressed to think how he could be meaningfully better.

I mean, without just designing a totally new G1 Blaster in your head.

 

Aside from some hollow shoulders that Grimlock just may be replacing my Classics Grimlock on the shelf if he's indeed Voyager scaled. Well done Hasbro and about time too.

robot legs look a bit smallish, but he's really rocking a hulking, brutish look that works for me. Reminds me a little of Energon Grimlock in that way. (the GOOD way) Minor geewunny nitipck- I'd like some red around the lower torso, but looks like I'd have to paint that myself if I want it bad enough.

 

Besides it's a reasonably extensive retool, they went beyond a simple head change on this one.

 

YES!!!! THAT GRIMLOCK IS AWESOME!!!!! Blaster looks pretty damn cool too, but I hate that mold's alt mode front end. It needs to be more angled like the deluxe Soundwave mold. Why making a bigger version that houses minions necessitates the squarer front end I don't know. I mean the deluxe mold opened up to house the weapons, so what gives. Maybe they're just mis-transformed like a lot of the Transformers on display seem to be.

Either way they are both badass and we get GRIMLOCK!

On the other hand, I'm liking Blaster and wondering if we'll see a Twincast at some point. (with Ramhorn of course)

I stopped collecting a while back but hasbro is pullint me back in with Grimlock. I missed masterpiece Grimlock but this is a must have for me. Blaster is a maybe.

Grimlock is pure sex. Im leaning toward Blaster too. Hes another SW repaint, but he looks like Blaster enough to justify it. Guess we know the 4 voyagers... Kinda sad 3 are the same mold, but as long as Grimlock isnt shortpacked, I dont care.

 

While I am F*CKING AMAZED about Grimlock, something about ALL the recent voyagers bother me. Well, most of them. All the Soundwave molds look like crap compared to the Deluxe, Dreadwing just bothers me for some reason, and Grimlock looks out of porportion. The Dino-Mode looks cool (except for the tail), but the robot... meh...
Maybe he'll look better in person. Or maybe it's just the angle. Either way, the chestplate seems a bit... short. It needs to be taller. Otherwise, he's pretty decent.

BUT HE NEEDS A BIGGER SHIELD!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

no doubt that shield and sword need to be a tad bigger..i can already see a certain dude  on this site make n replacements..
