I've ALWAYS thought of Godzilla and Anguirus as friends, so it was so strange to see Godzilla Raids Again after watching the movies after it and to see Godzilla and Anguirus fighting to the death! I love that video *favorites it*

You sure there's going to be a trailer? I thought they were still writing the script. Maybe at best we'd see the new designs or something.

Yeah, I hadn't heard anything about wrapping a script. I think if anything they'll have a close to final character model...maybe news about the final story.

 

This is what I'm expecting for news.

 

Same. Of course I'd love for there to be a trailer, but I'll settle with a plot synopsis and maybe a very ambiguous teaser that doesn't reveal anything. Or a look at the design of Godzilla.

 

I hope they give use a design(s) presentation at least.

 

I swear if it's a guy in a rubber suit I will flip my shit, CGI or GTFO. I mean I liked some of the old godzilla films but it's 2012, enough's enough

 

I honestly can't see them going for a suit-mation effects movie. As much as they probably want to differentiate between Emmerich's Godzilla and through as much nostalgia as they can in this movie, a guy in a suit is just...no. I don't think we'll have to worry about a guy in a suit.

Actually, as a joke, I can totally see them making a presentation for the new Godzilla and being all dramatic and stuff and shouting "And now, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to give you a sneak peek of the new Godzilla design!" *guy in a lame suit walks onto stage and acts all monster-y* You know, for the lulz.

 

I wouldn't mind the use the 40ft+ animatronic Godzilla from 98, that was awesome and it pissed me it was only used for picking up the fish truck in the NY arrival scene; they could refurnish it to look like the new LP Big G and have it picking up large scale ship models on its hands 

 

Of course they would announce this not even three weeks after I buy a VHS copy >< Godzilla vs Biollante Finally on DVD! Miramax to Deliver! « SKREEONK!

 

So Godzilla 1985 (or Godzilla Returns) is the only one still not on DVD?
