if you phone them up with your details and tracking info you can pay for it as soon as possible.

Also good luck if they have miscalculated the fee for one order I paid $444 (about £360ish at the time) they charged me VAT on it costing £444 so I had to pay out my ass to get my goods and after sending off the claim back form I'm in limbo and this was like 2 months ago

I could use some advice about opening a dispute with paypal.
I bought some stuff from someone a couple of weeks ago and I havent heard anything back for m the seller since I paid them. The seller lives in the states so I decided not to jump the gun and open a dispute straight away, I wanted to give the post enough time to get to me but its been just over 3 weeks now since I've heard anything from the seller and since I sent the payment. I made up my mind that I'm going to start a paypal claim on friday if I havent head or recieved anything.
Am I jumping the gun or not? Any advice will be appreciated.

I'd allow at least a week for shipping from the USA or Far East (they might even have sent it surface mail, which would be a lot longer), but if it's been 3 weeks with no response, definitely open a claim.

It shouldnt really take this long, but I suppose it depends when he posted it.

Have you sent them a message, just asking when they posted it?

No. You are not jumping the gun. Opening a dispute isn't the same as getting a refund. Once it is open, you can close it satisfactorily after. Also, while it could take longer than three weeks to get to you, an email won't take three weeks. I assume that you have attempted to contact him and got nothing back? You are not being unreasonable to be worried after zero communication for three weeks, and not being unreasonable to open a dispute. You will be surprised how many people suddenly discover their 'send' button when a dispute is raised.

I've sent a couple of pm's. I bought from this site, obviously not going to name anyone. The seller has been online a couple of times since I sent the pm's so I can reasonably assume they saw the message. I'm just hoping I havent been scammed. I did want to give the seller the benefiit of the doubt that's why I havent opened a dispute yet, realising it can take a couple of weeks to ship from America and with my luck if I did open a dispute then I guarantee I would've gotten what I ordered the next day or something.

I think your right. The fact they send some parcels in Takara boxes probably helped getting them noticed

Do they know that you will open a dispute on Friday? I would send one last PM and let them know that you are worried by the lack of communication and if you have not heard any progress on this then you will have no choice but to initiate a dispute.... smiley-face, smiley-face, heart.

    Hmmmm dunno dude,
I've brought some stuff from the states and China recently and they all took about 7 working days,
    Lets do a check list,
    1. Did you receive confirmation the item was dispatched
    2. Any tracking numbers
    3. Does the seller have that stupid disclaimer on the listing page saying no refunds given
    4. Have you tried contacting the seller

Otherwise just claim against - buyer always wins,
As a seller I had to go through a messy dispute because the arsehole buyer contacted me about some missing items, he then gave me 5mins to reply (naturally I was at work, and don't check eBay periodically)
So because i didnt reply in those 5 mins he opened a dispute, he won but he was in the wrong (long story short but we almost came to blows)

At the end of the day don't feel bad about opening a dispute especially if he's failed to make any contact,

Just received my RK order (3 AM prime figures) today without any fees via parcelforce. it was the 'usual' robotkingdom address, but it was a plain box and the value was gift/declared low like i asked, so i dont think theyre monitoring the address at least.

I sent the seller a pm a couple of days ago basically saying that the lack of communication has gone on long enough and if I didnt get some reply within the week that I would be opening a dispute with paypal.
I think I've been fair and patient up to this point but now I'm just getting annoyed.

Yep agreed. To be clear, you are not expecting the item to be here, but it is entirely reasonable to expect a two line PM to say 'hi, its posted'. You have given him three weeks to send a single message, made every attempt to contact him and given him fair warning of a dispute.

I predict that you will open the dispute, and get a message within a couple of days. If he hasn't sent you a message in the last three weeks, is he really likely to send one in the next three weeks if nothing changes?

In the interest of transparency, something you've apparently not been provided with, i'd suggest you wait until the deadline you gave him.

Beyond that, i'd be miffed too.

I've given myself a deadline of Friday before I open a dispute and to see if I do get the package. Quite simply once the post has come on friday and if I havent gotten the package or anykind of response then I'm opening a dispute.

I picked up two Vehicons, I already have the FE guy for my "Vehicon Steve", these two will just be his troops. I try and mix things up when I troop build like using United Scourge as the main dude and Generations versions as Sweeps.

I got 1 and paid a similar amount and for me he's a great figure but he's only worth that if you think he is and he is a bit tall compared to the RID figs, almost Megs height.
