If anyone remembers OP's transformation sequence during the interview with Peter, that might explain why they had to sacrifice the back wheels and put them on his arms.

I'm surprised how nice this Prime looks in these pics. Hasbro seems to be deadset on Easy Transformations, and more robot Articulation than normal. Though leaving the smokestacks up in robot mode would be my preference. Folding them down does'nt really hide them. It just draws your attention to the pieces that aren't out.

Yeah. I'll buy a couple of these. Its a good deluxe with some custom possibility's. For example I'm considering a cybertron form Trailbreaker.

 

I wonder if a different set of legs would help that disproportionate overall body size?

Interesting, from the side this Optimus' head looks good. But looking from the front, I don't like his face. WFC is far superior.

 

You know, the fake wheels in this picture bug me, but if you're going to mold them in, you may as well paint them.

 

I really like how this figure looks. He's bulkier, and while the legs are hollow which I'm not loving that engineering, he gives the appearance of being more of a War Within version.

Can you load him with weapons like it was possible with WFC Optimus? Does he probably have 5mm holes at his shoulders where one could place rocket launchers?

 

I was completely not going to even consider this figure but he looks pretty good. Even if he does go into battle pelvis first. I like how his head looks, far better than the one on laser prime thats for sure.

 

I'm really liking this guy's overall look. And it wouldn't be so bad either if say FP/MT made an armor set for him & the future Magnus repaint.
