They are charging something like 8o bucks arent they ? it really only cost 45 bucks from AMazon Japan ! that is a big mark up if I dont say so myself

 

Oh really? Well, RK usually has pretty fair prices, I've found. The Amazon exclusives aren't all that much more than their regular versions they have for preorders.

In the end, the prices were "worth it to me", so no biggie. I expected to pay a much larger mark-up for the Amazon versions on Ebay, so I didn't even expect to get the exclusives, even though I wanted them.

It's difficult to resist exclusive accessories. Sucks for me as a Sideshow GI Joe collector, too.  

 

yeah I just checked , Amazon japan is less. From now on Order it yourself straight from Amazon Japan and have it shipped to a friend in Japan for free and then have them forward it to you. Save you a big chunk of cash

 

MP-13 is around 150 dollars on Amazon.jp and 169 on RK...not too much of a mark-up

Lambor and Red Alert 55 dollars on Amazon and 62.90 on RK, that's pretty reasonable (to me anyway)

I have a friend in Japan but I haven't spoken to him in a while, I might have to start sucking up lol By the time shipping to Japan then shipping to where I am is added on I'm probably better off just going with RK

 

Shipping from amazon japan to a Japanese house is FREE ! so youd be better off getting him to send it .

Someone posted on another thread that a store called aimiie or something like that ( check, the thread talking about the size /scale is wrong on soundwave or Sideswipe and Red Alert here , I forget which ) is cheaper too. Dont know if they will ship from Japan to you or only Japanese houses but again its a few yen cheaper there ( I think roughly 200 yen = 2$ USD)

The stores people are buying them from dont ship free from Japan to where you are so the shipping from Japan /your friend to your house will be the same as the stores, so yeah you are still saving money by cutting out the middle man

But most stores in the last few days have dropped their prices to within a few bucks so its not that big of a deal to use these other stores now. I see TF sourse still has it up for 80 bucks though, sure it will change like the other stores have changed though
