Ok im thinking about pulling the trigger on this guy. I played with G.I. Joe as a kid but I don't collact them now, This years Shockwave toy looks good also so im hoping to get my hands on it aswell. My question is do you think Starscream is worth the 150.00-200.00 its going for on ebay? Any other thoughts on it so I can make a educated decision?
If you like it and can get it at a reasonable price I say go for it. Under $200 might be a bit of a challenge however. And if I am not mistaken I don't believe he actually transforms. If you don't have a MP, I recommend grabbing a MP-11 instead for a definitive Starscream. I just did. It'd be a little cheaper too. The size on it is nice. And it's a pretty sweet looking jet mode. If it's something you want and you really like GI Joe as well I think it's probably a good buy for you.
star scream toy Is a reprint of the sky striker remold. If you think it's worth that price range and you can afford it, buy it.
I do like it alot and i'm not into dropping that much on one piece but I like the uniqueness of it. I don't have any masterpieces though and MP-11 is something to think about but I hate to admit to being a completist and the masterpiece line seems like alot of money to complete. I can deal with a small chunk once a year or so but masterpiece line I would have alot of catching up to do plus all the ones coming out soon. As far as sdcc starscream I just don''t wanna buy it and regret getting it because like prowl said its just a reprint. MT Giant has also crossed my mind but like I said I like the uniqueness of the G.I. Joe Tansformers line and the Shockwave of this looks good.
I still say get it as well. You seem to want it enough. Like the last dude said too, you can always sell it and get your money back if you change your mind.
