pic from Seibertron Vehicon (Cyberverse): 1/67 Scale Toy alt = 2.625"; bot = 2.625" Cadillac Cien = 176” (15’) Bot = 176” (15’) Close enough to Prime Soundwave (1/72) and, I presume, P:RiD Starscream (SW's alt is 36' while SS's is 49'; sound about right for a Deluxe and Voyager, respectively). Not anywhere near right for bot modes, obviously, even if we assume Soundwave is a smaller-scaled UAV (see: Skystalker), but when has Starscream ever obeyed scale? pic from Seibertron Bulkhead (Cyberverse): 1/59 Scale Toy alt = 3" Nissan Xterra = 178” (15’) ** the Renault Duster is a touch smaller (170") and thus at a touch smaller scale (1/57)** -alternatively- Bulkhead (Cyberverse): 1/69 Scale Toy alt = 3" Honda Ridgeline = 207” (17’)
-alternatively- Bulkhead (Cyberverse): 1/74 Scale Toy alt = 3" Chevy Avalanche = 221” (18.4’) sorry if I'm being a pain about this, but I've been comparing every chunky SUV I see on the road to Bulkhead, trying to figure out what he is closest to. Someone elsewhere on the forums pointed out that he would probably choose something common, which rules out the European cars. Here's the pic I used for my comparisons: Transformers PRIME First Edition Bulkhead Voyager Class action figure (Hasbro version) alt mode | Flickr - Photo Sharing! truck comparisons Avalanche: I think the "struts" connecting the bed to the roof, and the greebles on the roof are particularly characteristic, as well as the two-tone deco http://chevy.4x4offroads.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/4x4-Chevy-Avalanche.jpg Honda Ridgeline: the All-Terrain Concept is close, too, including the bumper, struts, and a bit of the two-tone deco http://www.myride.com/images/Concep...ncept/400/AllTerrain_Ridgeline_exfrdrvr34.jpg Nissan Xterra: nice and chunky, the front works well; however, it doesn't seem to come with an open bed like Bulk has http://www.autoloandaily.com/images/stories/2009 nissan xterra.jpg Renault Duster: too sleek, in my opinion; also doesn't seem to come with an open bed option http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gPp-p1AMS...iaDuster_2011_1024x768_wallpaper_0a_thumb.jpg that same "someone" pointed out the Lamborghini LM002, but other than maybe the headlights ans struts, I don't see it. http://www.freeimagesarchive.com/data/media/205/2_lamborghini+lm002.jpg
During E3 coverage, Tieger was recorded saying Bruticus is an 80ft bot. I don't think I'll be extracting FOC models anytime soon, but maybe that's enough info to piece together the rest when figures hit retail, as Onslaught and Brawl should be about the same height character-wise as the not-scouts characters.
I don't think you're being a pain at all, I just said he was a Duster because the only opinion I could find on the matter was from Wikipedia and I don't own either the toy or a car (so I don't pay a lot of attention to them. Don't see a ton of SUVs in Brooklyn anyway), so I went with that because the thread was stagnant and I wanted to bump it. But I'm perfectly glad to get someone else on this. I've got to say I think the Avalanche is probably closest. Bulk really seems like he'd pick an American automobile regardless.
pic from Seibertron Starscream (Voyager): 1/79 Scale Toy alt = 7.5"; bot = 7" F-16 Fighting Falcon = 593" (49') Bot = 553" (46') Fun Fact: A scaled Arcee, assuming she's ~7 feet in motorcycle mode, would have to be 1 inch long.
Legion Arcee is 2 5/8th" from front bumper to seat-tip (6.5cm). This puts her around 1/32. anyone else feel like her tiny hands are going to destroy the pegs of whatever weapons she holds? All the results from these last few pages need to go up on the front page!
So, have we figured out TFP Ratchet's exact alt mode yet other than "close to but legally different from a generic mash up of existing ambulances".
I saw a Jeep Liberty yesterday, and the "bolts" in the wheel guard look a lot like the ones on Bulky: http://img2.netcarshow.com/Jeep-Liberty_Renegade_3.7_2005_1024x768_wallpaper_02.jpg this image has the right overall squat "feel" of his alt mode, but is too round; maybe it was a base they assembled other parts onto? http://www.auto-insight.ca/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Jeep-Liberty.jpg
Sorry for my lack of participation here. Work and selling/buying a house has been taking all of my time as of late. Everyone here is doing an amazing job of adding to the scale list, and I do still plan on adding all of these to the main index; hopefully sooner rather than later.
Not sure how I missed this guy: Pic from Seibertron Insecticon: 4/1 Scale Toy alt = 4"; bot = 3.5" Spy Fly = 1" Bot = .875" Insecticon looks to be roughly the same length as Sam's index fingertip (tip to 1st joint). My own fingertip is about one inch long, giving us our measurement. While there are countless arthropod Transformers, Insecticon is unique in that he is actually bug-sized. This results in him having a toy that is much larger than it "should" be, a trait I don't believe any other Transformer shares.
does anyone know what kind of speedboat PCC undertow is? i'd really like to figure out what scale he's at.
Oh man! That's fantastic news. That you're coming back, I mean. Not that you're busy. Unless you like being busy. Then that's good. We miss you. Although I no longer own one to be able to say for certain, I believe Masterpiece Megatron is slightly larger than an actual P-38. It is a shame because I now know someone who owns an actual P-38. Re: Insecticon. I love this little dude, I really wish they'd done a G1 colors repaint, I'd'a bought like ten.
Miniconstructicons (or is that Constructiminicons)! Pic from Seibertron Wideload: 1/183 Scale Toy alt = 2"; bot = 2.25" Cat 773B = 365" (30') Bot= 412" (34') Pic from Seibertron Longarm: 1/157 Scale Toy alt = .75" (width) 2.5" (length); bot = 2.25" All-Terrain Crane = 118" (10') (width); 393" (33') (length) Bot = 353" (29') Longarm is a similar case to fellow construction vehicle Sledge (though not as extreme) where the alt throws in some weird features for sake of bot mode and chalks it up as "construction equipment", in this case two crane arms. The truck itself looks pretty normal, apparently based on some type of all-terrain crane. While not an exact match, the QAY 130 in particular has similar proportions; you can even kinda see where another two pairs of wheels should go on on Longarm. Width is an easier measurement to go by, as the crane itself interferes with the length.
