In your incoherent rage did you consider the separately carded Energon themed Combaticons? Or is that iteration of Blast Off offensive to you?

It's not impossible that Takara will offer them separately, in a G1 color scheme, although probably at more than this 12.99 figure you've imprinted into your mind.

And Hasbro have aren't making them available in that color scheme separately anywhere.

This isn't another round of 'Hasbro hates the U.K'.

I've seen the large hand on the back of Swindle's shin, and read discussion on Bruticus' limbs being interchangeable. So has anyone seen a gestalt hand on Brawl?

 

Not a huge fan of the CJ figure, but DAMN, I love that packaging. Also, really really want that Bruticus.

 

Bruticus packaging is way too nice to open.

 

Definitely getting Cliff-zombie, but Bruticus is tempting too...

 

Really dislike the fact that accurate deco Bruticus is an SDCC exclusive, and we get hot neon messes at mass retail instead. Not sure I'll pick them up at this point. CJ looks great but again, it's a shame it's also an exclusive. I don't mind Takara's AM clear purple Terrorcon CJ but the marketing at work just boggles me.

 

It does seem like SDCC has some kind of precedence over retail in terms of show-accurate characters, doesn't it? At least for Transformers, anyway. Glad we're not getting any must-have GI Joe stuff, other than red Jinx (who won't be too pricey, probably about thirty or thirty-five bucks on eBay).

Not sure if that's just some kind of coincidence or what. Annoying, to be sure, but best to just get over it at this point. If you want it bad enough, you'll find the cash somewhere.

I'm not 100% sold on Bruticus, though. I guess I could get it and if I change my mind later, sell or trade it, maybe even for more than I paid...

 

^ True dat. I'm not mad, just disliking the direction of exclusives and mass retail toys is being handled. WfC/FoC figures aren't necessarily my thing to begin with and this isn't helping to convince me to start picking them up. Ah well, I've got alot of other releases to keep me and my wallet occupied.
