Well, if the tongue looked like a TONGUE, and not something out of Japanese tentacle porn, then sure.

Part of it is that it's in CONTEXT with all the other crap that's been shown for KISS Players. On its own, you could make a decent argument that it's just a random creepy drawing. As part of the KISS line ... not so much.

Ok, I'll explain.

1) If that monstrosity looks like a penis to you, then you've probably seen one that looks quite a lot like it.
2) Most men don't tend to see a lot of wang (because that would be gay), therefore odds are it probably looks like theirs.
3) Girls tend to shy away from slime covered tentacle cock, especially the kind that looks like it comes from an Old One, so I feel sorry for the girlfriend who unzips those trousers expecting a good time and instead comes face to face with a Sanity roll.

The whole KISS line is pathetic. Now if we got the actual band KISS figures with the Transformers, now THAT would be cool. I really wish someone would just wipe out every single otaku in Japan.

The minds are apparently used to going there after umpty-ump threads of Kiss-play developments.

However, it MIGHT help if the manga artist went on the assumption that most tongues don't have a little hole at the tip. (avoiding the whole recurring issue about robots with tongues for the moment   )

I work hard to stay neutral and all "those guys are overreacting" about the Kiss-Play line, but Takara and friends seem to be working equally hard to hammer me over to the "OMG PEDO RAPIST" reactionary side.

But then, I know K-P isn't marketed to me. I guess I'm just at a bit of a loss for exactly WHO they are aiming their marketing at.

Let's take a step back here folks and look at what we are really getting from this line.
1. A better painted Alt Optimus Prime. (my opinion) w/an Anime figure and a Surfboard that becomes a sword.
2. A WST sized Meister w/an Anime figure.
3. An Alt Hot Rod Ford GT which will most likely never be made by Hasbro w/an Anime figure.
4. An Alt Megatron out of the S2000 (maybe) which may or may not come with an Anime figure.

That's 4 Transformers, three of which we haven't been offered by Hasbro plus some tounge in cheek Anime figures. Forget the stupid plot behind the series and pitch the damn figures if you don't like them. Just see this for what it is on the surface rather than letting your imaginations take your where it sounds like you don't want to go.

Maybe, if we're lucky, they'll do a few more characters before it ends that will make nice additions to our Alt collections since that's all they really are.

I duno..I don't really enjoy paying MUCH more for this KISS Player line over a lot of UNNECESSARY things that I can gladly do without but then again Takatom's giving us BETTER paint works.

Firstly, it was Convoy. Next, it will be Rodimus & now Megatron/Megaplex. HOW do I resist this line when it's all the KEY characters that I've been waiting for??? *Sigh!*  

 

OK... lets stop derailing this thread to yet ANOTHER installment of "KP suxxs/No you're dumb". This thread is about the possibility of the KP line getting a Megatron character from the Honda S2000 mold, which would mean there'd finally be a Megatron in this string of lines. Comment on THAT, not on KP's morals/immorals, ok? If you havn't gotten it all out of your system, take it to the Fuzzyworld or TFGD. I don't want to have to lock a N&R thread that's legit.

Wow that was a creepy pic. And Megatron as an S2000, man how wimpy.

I mean Honda S2000(Megatron) vs Dodge Ram SRT-10(Prime), that is in no way fair. Once again the better mold goes to Prime, suck it Megs your crappiness has crossed over from the the Titanium line.

 

All oddity aside, the S2000 mold wouldn't be bad for Megatron, admittedly the car isn't some mighty death dealing war machine, let's face it an S2000 isn't a particularly mean-looking car! Cool yes, but not mean.
But painted right, and with a good head sculpt, it'd make a good Megatron!

Flat, wide chest - check
BFG - check

I won't be buying any KP figures as IMO they're an Alternator which is overpriced because it comes with an extra figure I don't want and would never take out of the box.
So, therefore, unless they make an Alt Megatron or the figures start turning up loose somewhere at a sensible price I'll never buy one.

Windcharger/Overdrive's mold doesnt have a big gun, It's tiny, even with the barrel, still better than what Skids is packing, Alt windcharger can have a BFG, and I'll get pictures in a sec to show.

Also, If Megs did come without an Anime figure, I might be tempted to pick him up, if he isnt hilariously overpriced.
