O yeah, they work great in white, porobably form together in the carrier mode since the pannels look like they can slide from over each other.

I would be happy with a voyager sized Assaulter, but an Ultra class would be ideal for me personally (I doubt it tho).

To get to the root of this whole subject. I'm just eager and excited to get a new piece of FP TRANSFORMERS in to my collection after so long.

I won't be getting Steelecore (so far) because he is not a G1 character but everything else that they have lined up (rumours holding) is as good as bought.

I just wish they put out a release date. I know they need to hype their new stuff, that they have a new business model with the Fansprojectcore site, that there will be fans interaction, blah blah blah, but come on: can't they please show us a painted Steelcore and give us a tentative release date? We've seen the box when, one month ago?

The last tfw2005 podcast Seth Buzzard mentioned that he can see a repaint into tidalwave,IIRC. So I shopped one up real quick.

In case no one saw earlier, there's a new color mock up in the warbot 02 thread ;)

I love the paint scheme. It is soooooo Broadside.

I have the G1 Ultimate Brick in my collection and even though I have no connection to the character I do see the charm in the figure.

    SOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooo bought!

Any hints as to the size? I hope he is at least a Voyager or an Ultra.

Huh. Never really thought about that, despite some really great Broadside customs being made from Tidal Wave... if the above repaint happened, I'd probably be powerless to resist buying it. Looks pretty slick.

Loving the paint scheme. I really like it when we get figures with these sorts of hulking proportions; Broadside thus greatly appeals to me.

Hope he's at least a Voyager.

I think he's stating that this picture:
Looks a lot like thundershred with some different panels and such. Which is true based on the head sculpt and the looks of the body panels and such, then yeah it can totally look like that. I don't think it's the case though, but I can see where the statement comes from.

We're past the "sooner than we think" point. So where is this thing?

It's in their best interests to actually release product. Hasbro/Takara and all the other 3rd party groups have some really awesome stuff on the way. The longer it takes for FP to release their robots, the more competition they're going to have for customers' money. Fansproject can't ride their reputation forever.

Well, you have to remember that FP has been setting up the CORE system which would allow a greater interaction between them and the fans, and in addition to Assaulter there's SteelCORE, the Powermaster-esque original design, also in the works.

Plus, FP is the only 3rd party who even has a triple changer on the market, none of the other companies even have a competing product announced (to my knowledge), so I think FP is safe, and unlike many other 3rd parties (and in extreme cases Hasbro itself) quality in FP products is almost universally and consistently high, and as long as that trend continues people will come back to them.

Steelcore is the one that's coming out sooner, not Assaulter.
