this game is really shaping up to be something epic!! and i love how oldskool tf fans are working on it too ..soooo excited for this!!
Oh come on. Granted the vehicles can strafe like a robot mode, you can't possibly say they're identical in gameplay. Flyers are obvious, all modes have a lower profile, some have far more powerful weapons. If you haven't taken advantage of the many ramps about the place to boost off then that is a shame, but you can choose whatever style you want to play. WFC hasn't restricted you anything when it comes to vehicle movement, it has just offered you further options. You can hold down the boost when you transform if that is more familiar to you. You don't have to strafe in alt-mode. High Moon have stated from the onset that they wanted to ease any control disparity between modes in order to cater for younger or beginner gamers. I'm sure this also applies to the behavior of either mode. Personally, I'm happy that they're attempting to make the game accessible to people without much confidence in driving mechanics. Consider the stafe option like training wheels for someone who'd probably ram the nearest wall in ROTF and be too afraid to transform again afterwards. Complaining about a vehicle strafe mode seems to me to be complaining that you've been given a freedom you don't need. I understand complaints about limited melee and the lack of combos (and car flipping)...
Man, I can't get over how tiny Optimus is in Metroplex's hand. Those Decepticons will never know what hit them. Plus, it's funny how the lil' Cons were running around and falling off the guy when he was transforming XD
And then the dramatic NOT CLICHE scene where we show someone fall off, hit something below him, and then bounce off it and start spinning, continuing to fall of course!!!
i find it hilarious and obnoxious at the same time. not sure why but i'm always tempted to mimic it when i hear it
