AND FINALLY we get to actually shoot Shockwave's cannon instead of using it as just a melee... it would be so awesome if they added the g1 laser sounds or megatron's fusion cannon sound effect whenever you fire.

 

I'm torn, on one hand, i want to preorder from Gamestop for the Optimus skin....but the G2 Bruticus skin just looks like it will be way more fun to toy around with in-game

 

too bad the mainline bruticus doesn't match that g2 brut's colors (or proportions for that matter)

Actually really like the way that g1 prime looks, if hasbro wants to make a deluxe that looks like that to release alongside the FOC figures I'd be all over it.

I don't like the practice of making a different preorder bonus for each store, so I refuse to support the practice by preordering from anywhere, but these aren't bad for what they are.

Its just unfortunate that they made 'bee mute, it just ruins the media for me and will just frustrate me the whole time I'm playing the single player; probably just gonna end up skipping the game just to avoid being annoyed. Guess we'll see how I feel about it after reviews.

Yes, exactly. That was my first thought. I'm likin the G1 Prime, I'd love to see it in truck mode though. Just saw it in Truck mode with in game pics, lovin it ALOT more now.

By the way what's with all the hate for Gamestop. My local one is pretty good, the people who work there I mean. As for the company, Gamestop seems to treat their customers better than most.

 

I don't agree with the not preordering so your not supporting the practice of a different preorder bonus at each store. Looks like your just hurting yourself on that one, of course all preorder bonuses will probably available later as DLC.

As for mute Bee. Bumblebee will only be mute after Megatron injures him. We've known from the beginning that the 1st level will be Bumblebee on the Ark as the cons board it. Also Bumblebee will be gravely injured jumping in the way of a blast from Megatron's fusion cannon that was meant for Optimus Prime. My guess is that is when he loses his voice. After this level FOC will go back to before the the Ark is launched, so Bumblebee should have his voice through most of the game. But I hear ya man, I HATE HATE HATE voiceless Bee.

I'm with you. Also given that most collector's editions are limited run and TF fans proclivity to buy moderately to very costly collectables, If there isn't a collector's edition then all parties involved in that decision are morons who need to be fired.

 

Well G2 Bruticus pre-order for me! That decision pretty such made itself!

That Bruticus is neat, but I'm going to go with the Gamestop bonus, the Optimus parts are available for use in MP not just SP.

Also those guns are pretty cool, but the Shockwave gun is just a repaint of the normal Shockwave gun from WFC.
Gotta admit that G1 Optimus looks horrible though. Still want it to use SOME of the parts on my robot.

EDIT: Wonder what Optimus looks like in vehicle mode... Has anyone noticed that they just HAD to make his Autobot symbols glow?

Glad they will G1 skins, that is something I wanted them to have in the first game. Hopefully any DLC characters will not already be on the disc. Unlockable DLC is such a rip off.

 

Normally, I would agree with this, but you don't have to pay money for these. All one needs to do is preorder the game from the store that has the desired skin at NO ADDITIONAL cost to the purchaser. That's DLC I can get behind.

However, it would be nice if the DLC was universal, making people choose, when they know damn well fans want them all does suck.

 

I wonder what the exclusive from Best Buy will wind up being. Maybe no preorder just yet.

 

Here's hoping that Amazon UK gets Bruticus too; they missed out on Jazz last time.
