no, i think people are annoyed at the game being half-assed, the dlc is just the cherry.

at first, yeah you're right, but as time went on it became clear the game was just a money horse with not enough legs to run that far.

 

Yeah, it's the half-assed state of the game along with the DLC business to be sure. And I'm pretty pissed that the company treated its consumers like idiots, too.

It also has a censored version of the Street Fighter II movie which I'm sure everyone wants.  

 

Honestly, I can't call the game "halfassed"... on release, DEFINITELY, but now that a lot of annoying actual glitches are gone. If I weren't able to look past every little bug and annoyance and appreciate good fundamental play, then honestly I wouldn't like SSFIV: AE either. I've even grown a lot more accustomed to the gem system, which I thought would be the thing that made me drop the game when I first bought it.

Regardless though, opinions are like assholes, and the only thing that isn't perception-based is that this isn't the SFxT thread, so I'm not going to theory fight about it... here .

I want fireballs that randomly come back on screen and an autocorrecting Balrog super like this game had.

 

I don't think Capcom has ever come right out and said "SF4 is done". Their usual response on the matter, and usually from Svenson, has always been something along the lines of "No further plans at this time".

Personally, I'd love to see them do atleast one more update and add Hugo, Poison, and Rolento. And Rainbow Mika as a way of apologizing for the huge cock tease they perpetrated with Kuma.

If anything, the console version has Akuma.

I gotta admit that it does look silly when Balrog whiffs his Ultra or his Super and then continues to throw three or four punches in the wrong direction.
