I was looking at buying the BT-7 2004 vers(damn its expensive!) of this mould but came across something that confused me. I saw subtle differences I didn't notice about BT-1. Can someone confirm the number of variants for this mould?

BT-1: 2003 version, Solberg & Mills names on window, #7 on vehicle
BT-1: 2003 version, Makinen & Lindstrom names on window, #8 on vehicle
BT-7: 2004 version, Solberg name on window, #1 on vehicle

 

There are four total:

BT-01 Smokescreen Subaru Impreza WRC 2003 (Makinen #8)
BT-01 Smokescreen Subaru Impreza WRC 2003 (Solberg #7)
BT-07 Smokescreen GT Subaru WRC 2004 (Hirvonen #2)
BT-07 Smokescreen GT Subaru WRC 2004 (Solberg #1)

 

Hirvonen must be very rare because I've never even seen one let alone it existed...

 

To the best of my knowledge, they were all produced in equal quantities. Perhaps that particular one was desirable to the WRC community, so they were snapped up? I have no idea, but I've got all four so I know it exists.
