You're kidding. That place never gets anything.

Probably missed it, but I may have to go check anyhow.

Im guessing you mean Napoleon? If thats what you meant then you're right lol. I work night stocking there and used to work days in electronics/toys/everywhere else and I can tell you the lady who is in charge of ordering toys is pretty much terrible at her job, doesent order anything that sells and over orders crap that just plugs up shelf space for months and months :banghead:

Alts alone still command roughly retail, $20. So yeah, good deal :)

I agree, the bulk(head lol) of current stuff sucks Classics exhaust. Can't wait for Generations to start back up.

I was willing to unload my Alts at one point, right after my dad died and I was jobless. I was transforming them to store in alt mode. I got to Hound, fiddled with him a while, and I changed my mind. Hound saved Alternators :lol

hehehe. They're physical representations of the cartoon models we knew and loved growing up. What's not to love, right?

Sage bit of advice: get Grimlock. You'll thank me...

Just noticed on Craigslist today that Toy Chest of North Canton has their lease up at the end of the month and is listed for sale. Bugger on it all.

i love the binaltech versions. there are a lot of fantastic figures in that line.. especially the Ford GT ones.

as for classics.. the classics figures weren't all that great.

voyager megatron wasn't very good, voyager prime had too much kibble and wasn't that great. starscream, thundercracker, and skywarp were alright, their robot modes are a little small, and the articulation wasn't that great. that being said, i love those jets, but as toys they're not fantastic. bumblebee was alright. grimlock was terrible, jetfire wasn't that fantastic (i wish they'd take another stab at him). hot rod, while he's one of my favorite characters, his toy was easily the biggest disappointment of the line for me.

generations and rts figures were all pretty good.

but i think tf prime soundwave, wheeljack, vehicon, first edition voyager prime and bulkhead, and voyager starscream, and i bet voyager breakdown, deluxe ironhide (if we get it), and voyager dreadwing could all hold their own, if not exceed when stacked up to the classics figures.

Aaaaaabsolutely :D  I think the Mustangs, the GTs, and the Mazdas were the cream of the crop.

    Well, true, but...

    :fisticuffs:

Compared to G1, classics Voyager Op was awesome. Compared to other classics and Laser Op, yeah, he was a bit meh. Megs, as a total package (the near dead-on Nerf N-Strike or Maverick or whichever it was alt-mode), was wicked slick!

Honest question, what do you compare them to when you say articulation isn't great? They're either the best or second-best classics mold-family for articulation. Neck, shoulders, elbows, wrist-cheat, hips, knees, toe-cheat...

Complete agreement here. Give us the real Jetfire and Grimlock, Hasbro/Takara!

Oh true - I don't hold that classics are the end-all of TF toy design. But they 1-up their G1 counterparts, and make absolutely stellar shelf display pieces at the same time. And I usually do include Generations when I say Classics - you can't say figures like Jazz and Kup aren't Classics, just that they were designed later than that first year :)

Those classics figures, please remember are OLD. about 6 years old now. Of course modern toys can beat them. I've been happy with all the ones that I own, and am likely going to replace my henkei megs for a hedgemon, but it served its purpose for its time!

And yea prid has some weak points still, but FE was built on a larger budget than the mainline figs today. One of the reasons its harder to release them is because they simply cost more to produce. They were meant as a limited run just to get people hyped for the mainline.

Believe it or not- as of 9:15 Toledo, McCord still has 1 vehicon (I just got one) and everything else from wave 2 and 3- no voyagers though.

I wonder if they just started with a case or two of each. I'm not sure they even had prid last time I bothered checking here.

They've still got a ton of dotm as well. In case your still looking. :D

Thank you so much for the tip!!!

    Thank you so much!

    I did mean Holland.

I'm very suspicious the wave 2 and 3 figures they have up are the first PRID they've even had in stock. Pretty sure last time I bothered to look there (I rarely do- it's been one of the worst places around to hunt) they only had DOTM toys. I would have been hunting for wave 2 at that point.

    This was a nice surprise!

I've been calling around Columbus ALL day, Walmarts and Targets, and nothing of wave 3 yet that I've found. Hurm. And when I ask if they can check the back room stock with an item number, they say no, sooo, yeah.

No Vehicons at the Eastgate Walmart. Dammit. Several Bumblebees are left though!

Cincinnati hates all you northerners who are getting peg-warming vehicons. Just super-saiyan.
