i hope people find airachnid in stores and pass on it so that i can get it and cancel my preorder of 3. kup looks ok. does anyone think he'll look good in a chug display?

Airachnid- Eh...I'll wait til I see some reviews, but it looks like a pass to me.

Kup- IDK if I'll get this guy or not, but I'll definitely get Ironhide.

"Rumble"- Holy. Crap. I must have this awesomesauce now. ‎(Even though it's the wrong color for Rumble. RIRFIB FOREVER!!!)

Dead End- I'm digging his headsculpt. Put that on top of the fact that I love the mold, and you have a bought on sight for me.

 

Not really, because there's already Generations Kup which fits the bill real nice.

The only one I'm interested in is the Kup mold. I'm gonna wait for the Ironhide repaint though.

I want to know if there's gonna be any Vehicons in wave 5...

 

Rumble is cool and I'll get him. Although, it looks to me like he is gonna be on the small side and he looks positively TINY in alt mode. The Airachnid figure "is what it is". I have a feeling that the figure may not be a triple changer with a spider mode. If it did, would they have not showed it at the Botcon display....? But on the other hand, TC's often make some "sacrifices" in their modes to accomodate the 3rd mode and Airachnids bot mode definitely makes some sacrifices (ie most of the altmode is her backpack). Bottom line for me, if it's a triple changer i'll get it and pass if it isnt. Kup looks good. I plan on getting the cyberverse Ironhide so maybe I pick up this one as a deluxe. Wheeljack and BB repaints = meh.

 

Airachnid is only 1x per case,looks like it will be another hard to find figure.

 

Airachnid will likely shelf warm in my opinion. Kids won't get her, and a lot of us will be put off by the huge kibble.

 

More for me, then. Never a bad thing for a shortpacked mould to shelfwarm.

 

The Ironhide version of that Kup will be awesome. Don't really get the Kup-Vibe from him though. RUmble is cool though. "First we crack the shell, then we crack the nuts inside".

 

Wow, Kup is definitely on my list now! He'll be joining my Aligned Continuity Wreckers with Wheeljack, Bulkhead, FoC Deluxe Ultra Magnus, and some others that will probably be released.   Those other figures look pretty awesome too!

 

are the chests of some of the Decepticons an homage to Gurren Lagann or something? i mean they have that whole chestface going on...

 

I think kup looks the best of all of these... I'll probably hold off on the mold until the Ironhide redeco though.

 

It might only have a Takara version covered in glued on ports and stickers.

Unless Hasbro feel generous enough to make one as part of a boxed set - People have asked them and they are still being coy about if there is going to be one.

It might be dead amusing is a later toy release was a red frenzy and Ironhide at the same time.

I'm still expecting Transformers Prime to get no support towards the end of the line as Hasbro abandon it in favour of "New & Shiny" 4th Movie toys and some twisted desire to over merchandise the Fall of Cybertron Videogames.

 

Hoefully Takara version looks better just like what they had done to United toys,all painted.

 

Unless you mean with stickers, then yes.

Having said that I'll get the AM version of the mould. (Ironhide)

 

Don't think TakaraTomy United figures will be with stickers, hoping that they will continue the good job of figures being pre painted rather than stickers.

 

It really does look like that, doesn't it? Not that I mind, because I love Gurren Lagann and all of the Mecha designs, but it is interesting that most of the Decepticons have faces on their chests.

 

Now is still too early to see but if it really become shelf warm,will not mind getting extra for this piece.

 

I'm still hoping PRID's Kup has a head compatible to generations Kup, cause if so, I'm so swapping it for the extra igear head I have.

Otherwise, I'm sticking to Airachnid, Ironhide, and maybe getting Deadend(namesake, dual swords, and wheeljack mold? Hasbro you seductress!)

 

When I see kup's face, all I can think of is the old planet of the apes masks.

 

If you add ears prime Kup would make an excellent bugs bunny/ transformers crossover.
