You know, I flippin' love these things... I hope they do well, as a future G1, BW, or RiD series would be the cat's pajamas.

What characters do you think would be good choices for these series?

For G1 - Insecticons, Cassettes, and Minibots would make good troop builders - combiner gestalts like Superion & Dev would make good big guys (comparable to Omega Supreme/Sentinel in the current series). The 84 cars and seekers could fill out the rest.

Any other thoughts on what you'd like to see, or ideas for other series?

Scrapmetal or any of the Vehicon Drones would make good 10-point figures. I'm hoping Cyb. Metroplex is next on the Battle Masters list, he's already the perfect proportions for this game and his axe would make a GREAT giant melee weapon. Some of the other big-gun TFs, like Cyb. Thundercracker, Shockblast/Sixshot, and Thunderblast are just begging to be made into Attacktix as well.l

Well the four starter figures are the same in every starter...but the alternate Decepticlone is not available at most stores...I think Wal-Mart is where it will show up eventually.

Sweet, we finally have a nice thread going here! Yes I customized those Battle Cases... if you look closely you can see the marker streaks!

Also, TF and SW boosters are selling out EVERYWHERE... if anyone is in the Tampa area, I will be at the DoubleTree on Aug 20th and the Tampa Comic con:

    http://comicbookconventions.com/tampaconvention/index.htm

I will be demo-ing the TFs. I may even bring my ebayed Prototypes of the Strong Arm and Arcee! MY Strong Arm swings backwards, but the Arcee shoots just fine. I wish Strong Arm was out already, I love those strikers.

I played TF all weekend and my friend was getting great with lobbing Optimus Prime's weapon on the opening attack. He was taking me out from three feet away with a killer arc... but I practiced all weekend until I could drop Optimus with an Insecticon from about 2 feet away... so NOTHING is impossible.

A team full of Battle Ravages rocks, too! If you are like me and you need more, you can trade at attacktix.proboards22.com...

I hope to see some of you at the Tampa Convention on Sunday! And check this out... wait for the last scene and watch what happens when an EWOK goes up against OPTIMUS PRIME

I'm hoping that the Decepticlone and Clone Trooper show up on related non-Attacktix merchandise as well...but so far only the "enhanced" starters have been announced.

Is there a site that has a lot of pictures of the different sets of Attacktix for each series, including ones that are coming out?

So dumb question that may have already been answered, but I'm tired and don't wanna read everything:

I just got a chrome-base Vector Prime. It's the first metallic base I've seen. Is this a big deal?

Yes and no. I've heard others compare them to getting a 'foil' card in a pack of cards. I don't collect cards, so I'm not sure exactly what those ratios are like.

I have 150 of these buggers now (75 2-packs) and I believe I have around 22-25 chrome base figs; so my ratio has been roughly 1:6 chrome bases to black bases.

There is a lot of talk on the Attacktix board that 10 of ANY shooter (for a 100-pt) game can be deadly.

'Clones have a great power that works together, and if you hit Super O.P. in the Chest/Cab you can knock him out from 2-3 feet awat. I can do it with my Insecticons from 30 inches EVERYTIME, he has a strong spring.

So 10 figures is a pretty good size army, when most people will have 3 or 4 with the LARGE point figures. Just practice dropping Prime, Scorponok, and Megatron from a distance and you will do fine.

Some Attacktix Tourneys limit 5 of the same figure. But if there are no limits GO FOR IT. I am building my 100-pt 5xBattle Ravage team... too bad I won't be at BotCon. Is there any info on this board about the BotCon Attacktix Tournament, or is it on a different site... my search didnt bring up anything but this thread.
