I never liked the silver accents nor the grey arms and legs. So I finally decided to do what so many others have done and paint up an RTS Bumblebee.

Up for comments. I need a better camera, lightbox, skill set, etc. But for now I wondered what advice the community may have for such things as the pegs. I don't like the yellow, but I also don't want them to be so tight he can't transform. I'm waiting on a Nemesisred head, but otherwise he's pretty close to being done.

    Thanks for any advice.

Nice work! I did something similar as well months ago. I painted the bumpers black so that it looks like a Throttlebot Chase

That's looking good! I did the same thing a few months back, but used wfc CJs head.
Only thing I can add is it looks like you need to pop the lights off and paint the yellow underneath. This is easy, just cut the glue away on the insides and gently pry/tap the lights out.

Great idea. Would you recommend the same base shade or something like silver to make it pop?

I actually used white, but have seen others use silver with a better look.
If you want to see the white, try searching mine out

    Nice start to you CJ.
I used WFC CJ haed on mine and sanded the pegs down and painted them red after to make them fit with out rubbing,
