I believe my first Transformer was a black version of G1 Sideswipe. Highly possible it was a KO. Got it when I was a kid in the late 80's. I am sure it is still in a muddy grave somewhere.
No it wasn't that one. I tried to look it up before I posted. I just couldn't find any info on it. It was a gift and it wasn't purchased here in the U.S., so I am assuming it must've been a KO.
Well, pretty much all of the details are stickers, so maybe it just didn't have em applied? Might still have been a KO or painted, but eh.
Well my first was armada prime. I doont really remember liking tfs at the time but idk how I have it. When I was 9 I got the 1st movie bumblebee and thought it was sick!
What is this the Fifth "First Transformer" thread I've seen? But I digress. It was G1 Long Haul, after that is was G1 Twin Twist.
Think it was g1 swerve and runamuck in 1987,they were given tome in a mixed bag of cars. The 1st i can remember getting in a woolworths brand new in 1989 was a yellow g1 hubcap
I always enjoy these threads. My first - Pre-rub G1 Ratchet, Christmas 1984 from a kind Aunt. It introduced me to a whole new world and started my passion. Many thanks to my Aunt.
My very first Transformers toy was the set of G1 Decepticon cassettes Rumble and Ravage. My dad got it for me at our local Sears store which to a kid back then was a great place to visit because they had a huge toy section and also served excellent fresh hot popcorn. The old Sears catalogs were awesome too when it came to Transformers. Some other Transformers toy memories: getting Metroplex from my aunt for Christmas, bringing Starscream to my elementary school (he got pretty man(kid?)handled by my classmates), my dad letting me choose between getting Sixshot or Scorponok (I picked Sixshot and wouldn't get Scorpy until I was an adult later) and my Mom giving away a Devastator giftset which at the time I thought was a cheap knock-off, but wouldn't find out until much later that it was an actual Diaclone!
